Born in Norman, Oklahoma as Vincent Grant Gill on April 12, 1957, Gill was born into an adorable family. His father, J. Stanley Gill, was a lawyer and administrative law judge by day, and a member of a country band by night. Vincent's mother, Jerene Gill, was a homemaker all day and night, and an avid player of the harmonica. Both of Gill's parents pushed for their son to pursuit a career in music, as with his parent's blessings Vince learned how to play instruments at a young age such as the banjo and guitar.

Gill attended Northwest Classen High School and got together to make the first band he played with in the late 70's with fellow band mates Bill Perry on banjo, Bobby Clark on mandolin and Mike Perry on bass. High school gave Gill many opportunities to awe audiences with his talent and love of music, but it wasn't until Vince appeared in Pure Prairie League's Can't Hold Back album that Vince Gill gained national attention. It was the smash hit, "Let Me Love You Tonight" that Gill performed with the Prairie League that he still brings back at almost every concert performance of his to this day.

It was in 1983 that Vince Gill signed as a solo artist with RCA Records, yet it was in 1989 that he moved on to sign with MCA Records. At the same time, "When I Call Your Name" came out, which was Vince Gills breakthrough hit. Things have never slowed down for Vince Gill and all of his amazing work and success, and he loves and appreciates every minute of it.

From the years of 1992 through 2003, Vince Gill hosted each and every single CMA Award Show. As well, 1997 brought Gill an induction into the Western Performers Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. 2004 was another beautiful year for Vince Gill as he was honored with a Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance.

Vince Gill has come out with countless amazing albums and singles and guest appearances with and by the works of countless other stars such as Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Leann Rimes, Gretchen Wilson, Amy Grant, Lee Ann Womack and Alison Krauss to name a few. This 2008 brought Vince Gill his 19 th Grammy Award for Best Country Album. There is nothing that this man cannot bring to gold.

Seeing Vince Gill live is a moving experience filled with surprise after surprise and an experience you will never forget. Don't miss this opportunity, and stay updated with all ticket information for your seats to see Vince Gill live in concert.
