Legally Blonde is the fictional story of a Elle Woods, a valley girl, who embarks on a quest to be regarded seriously at Harvard Law School so that she can win back her boyfriend. Elle Woods is the typical pampered Valley girl that grew up in Bel-Air and is president of her sorority, Delta Nu, at her college. As graduation approaches, Elle is sure that her Harvard Law School-bound boyfriend, Warner Huntington III, would propose. Instead, however, he breaks up with her, saying that she is not "serious" enough for him and could hurt his political future. Elle decides the only way to way to win Warner back is to attend Harvard Law School so that she can impress Warner. She applies and to everyone's shock, she is accepted to Harvard Law School .
At Harvard, Elle is met with hostility and cynicism and she finds Warner but he is already engaged to fellow law student, Vivian Kensington. Vivian humiliates Elle at every chance she can and Warner still regards Elle as unintelligent. Angry, Elle immerses herself in her studies and becomes one of the top students in her class. One of Elle's professors offers her a prestigious intern position, along with Warner and Vivian. They are all assigned to help with a case and Elle's knowledge of clothes, makeup and hair actually help her figure out away to free their client. In the end, Elle proves to everyone that a girl can be smart and studious while wearing pink and high heels!
