ABOUT ELF EAST RUTHERFORD TICKETS:
Elf the Musical is the hilarious on-stage production based on the 2003 blockbuster film, Elf. Elf the Musical was written by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan and the director is Casey Nicholaw. The music is by Chad Beguilin and the lyrics are by Matthew Sklar. The story is based on the film’s lovable character, Buddy Hobbs, who snuck into Santa’s bag 30 years prior and inadvertently ended up at the North Pole. Once he was discovered, everyone agreed that Papa Elf would raise Buddy like a son. As Buddy was growing up, he believed that he was an Elf his entire life. Finally Buddy the Elf’s horrible toy-making skills and enormous size proved insurmountable and he was told that indeed, he was not an Elf. Buddy learned that his parents were Walter Hobbs and Susan Wells and that his biological father never even knew he was born. Even though Buddy finds out that his father is on Santa’s naughty list, he decides to go to New York to find him at the children’s book company where he now works.
When Buddy arrives in New York, it becomes quickly apparent that he has no idea as to the ways of “humans”, starting with the fact that he is dressed like a giant elf! His behavior ranges from hilarious to ridiculous as he does things like chewing gum off the street and crossing the street at the wrong time. When Buddy finds his father, the egotistical Walter Hobbs has Buddy thrown out. When the rude security guard tells Buddy to “get back to Gimbel’s” Buddy does what he is told and ends up at Gimbel’s Department Store, which is in full Christmas regalia. The show goes from funny to downright hilarious as Buddy gets himself into all kinds of trouble, including getting into an all-out brawl with a “fake” Santa. Elf the Musical is a family show for all ages with an all-star cast and award-wining producing team. Don’t miss Elf the Musical; be sure to get Elf the Musical Tickets for the whole family today!
