Pauley Pavilion Venue Information:
Home to the Bruins basketball, the Pauley Pavilion was completed June 1965 thanks to the $5 million donation from Edwin W. Pauley, the University of California Regent. Los Angeles architect Welton Becket (Los Angeles Music Center, Santa Monica Civic Auditorium) designed the Pavilion and his signature values of texture and functionality are apparent everywhere.
The Pavilion is designed with 10,337 permanent theater seats, and 2, 482 retractable bleachers. This feature allows the Pavilion to be used for more than just sports. The Pavilion is also used for volleyball and hosting events.
The floor of the pavilion is affectionately known as the Nell and John Wooden Court , after beloved UCLA basketball Coach John Wooden and his wife Nell. In its beautiful history, the Pavilion has hosted the late Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra, Pavarotti, the Grateful Dead, and Bob Hope. Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Bad Religion, and Phish have also performed there. The 1984 Olympics gymnastics competitions were held there, as well as the 1988 presidential election debate between George H.W. Bush and Michael Dukakis. So many moments that can never happen twice happened within the walls of the Pauley Pavilion.
Today it is still home for the Bruins basketball team, and concerts happen regularly. Come visit the UCLA campus and see f the incredible technologically advanced creation of Welton Becket- designed over 40 years ago, its innovation has seen no need for improvements as it is perfect in every way.
We are not an affiliate of the Pauley Pavilion. We are an independent ticket broker. Please note, prices may be higher than those printed on your ticket. This reflects our cost of obtaining premium seating for you.
