More about Justice
Justice was formed in 2003. The members Gaspard Auge, alias “The Moustache” and Xavier de Rosnay alias “The China” are from North Paris. The two met at a party, they became Justice and had badges made with their logo on and soon decided to record some tracks together. Justice’s first work paid tribute to The Buggles, which was a new wave band formed in 1977. Justice met Pedro Winter at a raclette party. Pedro Winter was the head of Ed Banger Records and the long-time right-hand man of Daft Punk, a man who knows a hit when he hears it. Pedro was amazed at Justice’s recorded Simian’s “Never Be Alone”. The track was headed directly to Pedro’s office. The track became appealing to anyone who hears it. Justice's “Never Be Alone” perfectly represents the converging influences of punk, disco, electro and house that are so trendy; it was used on indie rock dance parties and big dance clubs and became an astonishing club anthem. Originally released in 2004 on DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolo Records, “Never Be Alone” began to burn dance floors internationally starting riots around Europe.
By September 2005, Justice's first solo single was released with Waters of Nazareth on Ed Banger Records, which was championed by DJs such as Erol Alkan, Tiga, 2 Many DJ's and Ivan Smagghe. The track was re-released in 2006 with additional remixes. Justice’s productive remix work continued, turning in mixes for Nerd, Vicarious Bliss, Franz Ferdinand, Mr. Oizo, Scenario Rock, Fatboy Slim, Death from Above 1979, Daft Punk, Britney Spears, Soulwax and The Mystery Jets. By 2005, Justice was about to put out “Waters of Nazareth” featuring the groundbreaking song, the tremendously ear-catching, “Let There Be Light” and the up-rhythm Dancing Vampire-like “Carpets”.
Justice had proven the quality and art of their music. They have managed to develop a very distinct and identifiable sound in a relatively short time. Justice’s music is unique, though they use a limited studio, which consists of mainly a couple of synthesizers, some guitar amplifiers, and a sampler.
Justice music creates a big difference in the music industry. Justice finds a way of making people dance frantically every time, with a discreet tear in the eye because of the keyboards chords. Justice music is for everybody. Justice for all! Get your Justice Concert tickets today.
