The first Bon Jovi San Diego Concert was on April 26, 1984, at the San Diego Sports Arena. The band stopped there during their "Bon Jovi Tour." The first setlist included "Breakout" "Come Back" "Roulette" "Shot Through the Heart" "Get Ready" and "Runaway."
Bon Jovi returned to the San Diego Sports Arena three more times. Dec 31, 1985, during their "7800° Fahrenheit Tour," Jan 16, 1987, during their "Slippery When Wet Tour," and April 21, 1989, for the groups "New Jersey Syndicate Tour."
On December 5, 2002, Bon Jovi made a special appearance at the KFMB Jingle Ball Eve 2002 concert taking place at 4th & B, in San Diego.
