When the boys of April Wine first got together back in 1969 in the small city of Waverley, Nova Scotia, it started off with the brotherly duo of David Henman on the guitar and Ritchie Henman on the drums. Soon enough the duet was joined by the likes of their cousin Jim Henman on bass, and Myles Goodwyn on guitar and lead vocals. They no sooner packed up and moved on out to Montreal than did they get a offer and signed with Aquarius Records.

Things were going well or the boys of April Wine, especially after their first studio album release, April Wine , in 1971. April Wine got their first hit single in that album with, "Fast Train". Audiences everywhere were falling in love with the boys, and people were taking note of the up and coming 'it' group. There came a few changes in the group with Jim Henman leaving to be replaced by Jim Clench, but through it all April Wine stayed strong.

It wasn't until April Wine was graced with the presence of the widely talented producer Ralph Murphy that they really kicked it off into chart topping gear. When April Wine came out with their second studio album release, On Record , their single, "You Could Have Been a Lady," ended up hitting number one all over Canadian radio stations. As well as winning the vote of Canadian lovers, the song made its way on to the Billboard Top 30 in the States, and stayed there for eleven weeks straight.

After some great new success and many of the original members chose to leave Apirl Wine, and in the end the only original member left was Myles Goodwyn. After auditioning new members, and having rides of gold and platinum with every album release, things started to go south for April Wine. The group decided to take an overdue break in 1986. Fans everywhere were on their toes wondering when April Wine would get back together. The time came soon enough in 1992. The boys have been touring around the world and back since, and audiences across the globe couldn't be happier.

Currently heading into their almost 40 th year as a group, April Wine now consists of Jerry Mercer, Bryan Greenway, Breen LeBoeuf and original member Myles Goodwyn. Seeing theses boys live is nothing short of a life changing hard rock performance that you will be sure to brag about for years to come. Stay in the know with ticket information as it becomes available for you seats to this epic event.
