Usher had the very best of production talent behind him in making this album – Jermaine Dupree, Tricky Stewart, The Runners, Ester Dan, RedOne, Polow da Don, Jim Jonsin, Bangladesh, Danja, and Jimmy Jan & Terry Lewis. The album reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 and sold more than 329,000 albums in the very first week of its release. The album has already been certified platinum by the Recording Industry of America.

Usher was born Usher Terrence Raymond IV on October 14, 1978. He is considered to be the current reigning King of R&B. Usher became famous with his second album titled “My Way” in the late 90’s. “Nice and Slow” of the album became his first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit. “U Remind Me” and “U Got It Bad” also became No. 1 hits, with albums selling more than 8 million copies the world over.

Usher continued his success story with this 2004 album titled Confessions. The album sold more than 10 million copies in the United States alone. With 20 million copies sold worldwide in the first week of release, Confessions holds the record for the highest first week sales for an R&B artist in history.
