Tanner Pearson was born April 10, 1992, in Kitchener, ON, CAN. The 6 ft 1 in, 204 pounds Pearson plays left wing and shoots left handed.
Pearson played for the Canadian Hockey Team in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in 2012.
From 2008 – 2010, Pearson played with the Waterloo Siskins Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL)

The LA Kings drafted Tanner Pearson in the first round, 30th overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Tanner Pearson played with the Barrie Colts of the OHL Ontario Hockey League (2010 – 2012). Pearson was the third-leading scorer in the OHL’s 2011-12 season.
In 2012, Pearson signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Los Angeles Kings and played with the Manchester Monarch for sixty-four games before being called up to the NHL.
Tanner Pearson has the distinction of becoming just the third player in LA Kings history to make his debut in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Pearson was inserted into the LA Kings lineup for Game three against the San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Semifinals on May 18, 2013.
Tanner Pearson First NHL Goal
Pearson scored his first NHL goal in his debut game Nov. 14, 2013, against the New York Islanders.
He had one goal as well as five points in his last seven 2013-14 regular-season games.
During the Los Angeles Kings 2014 postseason run for the Stanley Cup, Tanner played in 24 of the 26 games.
Pearson finished the 2013-2014 NHL playoffs with four goals and twelve points, which included a six-game scoring streak.
That 70’s Line.
In the LA Kings 2014–15 season, Tanner Pearson (70) played a majority of the season with right winger Tyler Toffoli (73), and center Jeff Carter (77) with the line dubbed “That 70s Line.” All three teammates had numbers in the 70s.
On April 18, 2016, Tanner Pearson won Game 3 of Los Angeles Kings first-round series against the San Jose Sharks by scoring his first overtime NHL playoff goal.
