With Marian Gaborik Trade LA Kings Look At Playoffs

LA Kings Tickets

LA Kings

Wednesday marked the National Hockey League’s annual trade deadline and the Los Angeles Kings, led by General Manager Dean Lombardi, were active once again. The Kings biggest move was the acquisition of veteran star Marian Gaborik from the Columbus Blue Jackets. Los Angeles sent winger Matt Frattin and a second round pick to Columbus to acquire Gaborik. The thirty-two year-old winger, taken third overall in the 2000 draft by the Minnesota Wild has scored forty goals three times in his career, to go along with two 38 goal seasons.

Here’s a look at what Gaborik will bring to Los Angeles as a member of the Kings:

“GOAL”

The Kings were aggressive in looking to improve their offense, reportedly making a run at Thomas Vanek, who proved to be too costly of an acquisition. When healthy Gaborik is a dynamic offensive player with tremendous speed and skill, an element the Kings simply don’t have. The former Wild and Rangers star could be the missing element that gives the Kings enough offense to compete with the Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks who the Kings face on April 12th the final game of the 2013-2014 NHL regular season.. The presence of Gaborik, combined with the Kings elite defensive unit and goaltender Jonathan Quick, could make the Kings a very difficult team to beat come playoff time. The Kings are expected to team Gaborik up with Anze Kopitar, potentially creating an elite combination that will benefit both players. The Kings are banking on recapturing the momentum they had back in 2012 when they acquired Jeff Carter from the same Columbus Blue Jackets. Los Angeles traded for Carter and then went on a hot streak that eventually culminated in the organizations first Stanley Cup Championship. With the Kings in the midst of a five-game winning streak the addition of Gaborik could very well vault Los Angeles up the Western Conference standings.

One potential issue with Gaborik is his ability to stay healthy. During his tenure with the Minnesota Wild Gaborik was often injured, a tendency that didn’t carry over to his time in New York but popped up once again this season in Columbus. He missed six weeks early in the season with a knee strain and then suffered a broken collarbone, two injuries that have left him largely ineffective this season. Gaborik returned on February 27th versus the New Jersey Devils and scored in his first goal.

What Our Fans Say

In addition to Gaborik the Kings also traded for young Buffalo Sabres defenseman Brayden McNabb. The Kings sent prospects Hudson Fasching and Nicholas Deslaurier to Buffalo for McNabb and Jonathon Parker. McNabb is a big, 6’4”, defenseman who will boost the Kings already formidable defensive depth. The move to trade Fasching, who’s had a tremendous season this year for the Minnesota Gophers, will be interesting to watch over the next several years. After a difficult draft season that saw him fall out of the first round to a fourth round pick, Fasching has improved his stock once again and was arguably the best player for the United States in the recent World Juniors.

You can see the newest member of the LA Kings when they return to the Staples Center on March 13th to face the Toronto Maple Leafs which is also Jim Fox Bobblehead night. LA Kings Tickets for Bobblehead night start out at $55 per ticket and go up to $175 for center ice seats.

Best Place To Sit Kings Ducks Dodger Stadium

Stadium Series Dodger Stadium

Stadium Series

With the success of the NHL Winter Classic, which this year pitted the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings in front of over one-hundred-thousand at the University of Michigan football Stadium, the National Hockey League has greatly expanded the number of outdoor games. This year the burgeoning tradition will include a unique matchup between the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium. The Southern California game will be held on January 25! You can purchase Kings Vs Ducks Stadium Series Tickets Now!

Where is the best place to sit in Dodger Stadium for the Stadium Series Game?

Kings Vs Ducks Tickets Dodger Stadium

Stadium Series/ Image from Dodgers.com

Since there hasn’t been a hockey game at Dodger Stadium yet it’s a bit tough to say exactly where the best seating location for the Kings Vs Ducks game is. It is also a personal preference as to where you like to sit for a hockey game. Some people like to sit as close to the action as possible while others like a higher view as to be able to see actual plays develop. Others like the action coming at them so they prefer to sit behind the goal and just have too look forward the entire game.

The the reserve level at Dodger Stadium will give you what seems to be a great overview of all the action going on. Loge should give you a great view as well. For people who like to be closer down of course Field Box is the way to go.

The Dodger Stadium contest will feature the team with the best record in the National Hockey League, Anaheim, and the Los Angeles Kings, winners of the 2012 Stanley Cup. The red hot Ducks, behind the superstars Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, lead the NHL with 75 points and are currently on a seven-game winning streak. Getzlaf and Perry are fourth and sixth in the NHL in scoring with forty-eight combined goals between them. They’ve helped lead one of the NHL’s most dynamic offenses and will be a stern test for Jonathan Quick and the elite Los Angeles Kings defense.

The Kings have had a solid season fighting through several key injuries including losing their All-Star goaltender Quick for nearly two months due to a groin injury. Los Angeles boasts a deep roster of talent including one of the top defensive corps in the NHL. The catalyst for the Kings success is Quick who returned from his injury on January 8th. The Kings are currently sixth in the Western Conference with 61 points, well within striking distance of Chicago and Anaheim for the top seeds in the conference.
Anaheim and Los Angeles will meet at the Honda Center on Thursday, January 23rd, two nights prior to the outdoor game. The doubleheader will give the Kings golden opportunity to make up ground on the Western Conference leaders immediately, adding additional intensity to the rivalry between the two Southern California teams.

The NHL will utilize technology first used during an outdoor game in Las Vegas in 1991. The Kings also played in the Vegas game in 1991 and despite temperatures that reached 85 degrees the ice held up the warm conditions. Like in Las Vegas the game will be played at night to mitigate temperature issues. Over the past several years the league has perfected the technology behind their portable refrigeration equipment they use for the outdoor games. The game at Dodger Stadium will reportedly be able to seat as many as 70,000 people, creating unique memories for Los Angeles hockey fans.

San Manuel Club

What Are The San Manuel Tables At The Staples Center

Staples Center San Manuel TablesHave you ever been to a Lakers, Clippers, LA Kings game at the Staples Center and noticed those neon looking booths at the rear of the arena and wondered what were those or how can you sit in those? Well those are called the San Manuel Club seats and yes can get tickets for them. Although the Club seats are sold on a season seat basis which means you have to buy them for all games and events at the Staples Center they are sold for individual games on the secondary ticketing market.

So What Are San Manuel Tables?

The San Manuel Club seats at the STAPLES Center aren’t just tickets, they an experience. Attending the Clippers vs Lakers game was by far, the best STAPLES Center visit I have ever had because of the San Manuel Club premier tickets.
.
San Manuel Club Tickets Staples CenterAs we approached the VIP entrance at the Staples Center and went up the escalator, you are almost exactly where you need to be, so the location is extremely convenient – a definite plus. With VIP Tickets you dont have to wait in the huge crowd waiting to enter the game. Entering a lobby area, I was greeted by a big metallic San Manuel Amphitheatre Club sign and some attendants who eagerly strapped me with a wrist band and directed us to our seats. The initial experience is in a word, AWESOME: A full bar area filled with beautiful people, a giant buffet and eating area with so much good looking food salads, fruits, lots of different types of cheese and a huge meat lovers delight counter – then looking left your blown away by an incredible view of the STAPLES Center floor. We arrived at our “semi private” area and were stunned with 4 plush living room type leather sofa chairs, a personal TV installed on the inside wall, small tables for snacks, and a private eating area for four that allows you to eat, while still seeing the game – a very intelligent and cool design.

VIP tickets san manuel club seatsSan Manuel Lakers[/caption]After the personal server came by to explain the San Manuel Club dining experience and take our drink orders, we took in the phenomenal view of the game from our “open roof box”. The set up of the area is best suited for two couples as there are two chairs on two separate levels, but a group of four could have a great time in the space as well. The San Manuel Club seats are pretty darn good, I felt close to the action and you’ve got such a great view of the entire arena – looking left and right you can see the other San Manuel “boxes” lit up bright purple and the entire STAPLES Center lining either side with the court in the middle from most seats in the club.

Staples Center San Manuel Club Vip TicketsThe AMAZING buffet that came WITH the tickets as part of the San Manuel Package, included cool stuff like: coffee braised short rib, fresh veggies, Chinese food and all kinds of desserts. When I heard there was a buffet I wasn’t too sure at first, but I can tell you first hand – the San Manuel Club chefs know what they’re doing. The whole group was going back for seconds and thirds for a good part of the game – it was almost being in a super luxurious version of your living room with gourmet chefs catering, and the Lakers vs Clippers playing LIVE right in front of you!

The whole experience was my best yet at a game, and at the STAPLES Center overall. The high end amenities make for a fun and relaxing live Laker game experience and then you throw in the included food and you’ve got a winner in my book. Next time I go to a game I’m definitely going to try for San Manuel Club premier tickets.

Staples Center San Manuel Club VIP BoothThe San Manuel Club booths are perfect for a date or entertaining clients because not only will they feel like a VIP just sitting in them but you can actually hold a conversation as well and in Los Angeles well that’s important. Besides some of most comfortable leather chairs there is plenty of leg room and moving around room that you don’t have in the other sections at the Staples Center. If it’s just the two of you there is still enough privacy to enjoy your experience together even with another couple in the box.

How Much Do San Manuel Club Tickets Cost?

San Manuel Club tickets can range in price depending on if it’s a Lakers Game, Clippers Game or LA Kings Game as well as who each are playing as well as if it’s a preseason, regular season or playoff game.

On average Lakers tickets for San Manuel Club seats can run from $200 to $350 per ticket. Clippers Tickets for the San Manuel Club seats can run $175 to $250 per ticket and Kings Tickets for the Club can run $200 to $300 per ticket.

How To Get A Deal On San Manuel Club Tickets

San Manuel Club Table Staples CenterTicket prices for any game in Los Angeles can be expensive so if you’re looking for way to get a deal on San Manuel Club Tickets at the Staples Center some of your best options are

Preseason Games – Generally prices for tickets are cheaper for preseason games sometimes up to 70% different then a regular season game or playoff.

Weekdays or not so big games – While it’s true everyone wants to see the biggest games of the year and certain teams have much higher prices but also certain days of the week might get you a much better deal on tickets. Mondays – Wednesday’s games on average can be less money than weekends as well as “less desirable” teams tend to me up to 30-50% cheaper than the hottest games.

Last Minute – Although it can be tough to plan a date or entertain clients based on maybe getting tickets if you’re looking to just go to a game waiting till the last minute can be a great option. Sometimes even the hottest games don’t sell out and Barry’s Tickets is located right next to the Staples Center so it’s easy to walk in even after a game has started and ask if tickets are available. You can even call on your way down to the Staples Center.

Just Ask! Last but not least you can always call our office and just ask if we can do any better on the price of a ticket. In the age of online ticket buying the lost art of just calling and asking is sometimes forgotten and as the “Great One” said, you miss 100% of the shots you never take.

If you need to see where San Manuel Club seats are located you can checkout our Staples Center seating chart to learn more.

San Manuel Tables are available for Lakers, Clippers and Kings Games at the LA Staples Center. Its a truly amazing experience to see a game in them.
