2016 NBA Playoffs Six Teams To Watch

With one more month until the 2016 NBA playoffs start, the race in both the East and West is as close as ever. The 8th and the 9th seed in the East are separated by half a game, with the 6th seed also only two games in front of 9th seed. In the West, the difference between the 8th and 9th seed is only two games, making the stretch run extremely interesting. Here are six teams that should become more and more interesting as the 2016 NBA playoffs approach.

Detroit Pistons

The Pistons went all in at the trade deadline, getting Tobias Harris from Orlando Magic to form a “mini Big-Three” with Drummond, Reggie Jackson and Harris. And while some people expected quick results, in reality, Detroit is playing 50% basketball since the trade. But that might be a good thing. The good news for the Pistons is they have only 7 more games on the road. But the bad news is they have lots of games against direct competition, starting with two games against the Wizards, a game against Chicago, two against the Hornets, and then some against higher tier Eastern teams: 2 against Atlanta, 2 against Miami, and one against Cleveland. The Wizards game are extremely important, since Washington leads the season series 2:0, and one more win will ensure the Wizards the tiebreaker. Detroit Pistons tickets for the 2016 NBA playoffs games start at just $35.00 per ticket.

Washington Wizards

Speaking of the Wizards, they are 2 and a half games outside of the playoff picture, but they can make up ground by beating the Pistons. Detroit is not in the playoffs, but they are just half a game behind Chicago for the 8th spot. The biggest challenge for the Wizards will be the Atlanta Hawks, as they have three more games against the 5th best team in the East at the moment. The good news, however, is they have several games against bottom feeders left: 2 against the Nets, 1 versus Phoenix, one versus Lakers, one versus Knicks, and one versus Sixers. Get Washington Wizards tickets for their 2016 NBA playoff games today.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls got Jimmy Butler back, but it might be too late. Sitting at the 8th spot, with just half a game lead is not something that Chicago envisioned at any point during the season. The Bulls were supposed to fight with Cleveland for East supremacy, but that hasn’t happened yet. And it doesn’t get easier down the road with only 8 home games left. Opponent wise, the Bulls have one more game against the Cavs, one against the Raptors, two versus the Heat, one with the Pistons, one with Indiana, one with San Antonio and one with Washington. The silver lining is that the Bulls will decide their own fate, with games against direct opponents like Washington, Indiana, and Detroit. Chicago Bulls schedule for their 2016 NBA Playoffs games at the United Center start at just $85.00 per ticket.

Portland Trail Blazers

Let’s start from the good news. The Blazers are currently at the 6th spot in the West, despite losing every player of their starting lineup from last season not named Damian Lillard. They have no chance of getting the 5th spot, but staying at 6 is very plausible scenario. Now, for the bad news. Take a look at their schedule: 2 more versus Golden State, 2 more versus OKC, one versus San Antonio, one versus Clippers. That is six games against the top 4 teams in the West. And to top it that, they have 2 more games against Dallas, a team that is just half a game behind them in the standings. The Blazers will likely make the playoffs, but staying at 6th spot gives them a chance against an OKC team that doesn’t look as scary as the Warriors and Spurs. Portland Trail Blazers tickets for the 2016 NBA Playoffs begin at just $25.00 per ticket.

Top 5 Lakers Games in January 2016

Top 5 Lakers Games in January will feature Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin and Stephen Curry.

Thunder at Lakers, January 8

Top 5 Lakers games in January at the Staples CenterKevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are two of the greatest Kobe admires out there. Durant even publically attacked the media for being harsh on Kobe in recent years, and then he went out to have a dinner with him before the game. That didn’t stop Durant and Westbrook from routing Kobe and the Lakers. If Kobe can do something better this time around, the Lakers might have a chance to be in the game. The Lakers vs Thunder game is number five in the Top 5 Lakers Games in January.

Rockets at Lakers, January 17

Since Kobe announced his retirement, Dwight Howard said that even though they didn’t get along in Los Angeles, he always had admiration for Kobe. And in the past few years since Howard is wearing Rockets uniform, Kobe has said few times that Howard is soft and criticized the center. Maybe now, in his last season in the league, Kobe will be gentler towards the center. Getting to see the duel between Harden and Kobe at the shooting guard is just the cherry on the icing. The Lakers vs Rockets game is number four in the Top 5 Lakers Games in January.

Bulls at Lakers, January 28

This will be a nationally televised game, with Derick Rose, Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler coming to Los Angeles. Gasol has been back to LA after he left the team as a free agent to sign with the Bulls, but this time, it will be different. He will be playing against Kobe for the last time in Los Angeles. There is an emotional moment there, but there is also the intrigue of seeing Jimmy Butler against Kobe Bryant. Butler is another young shooting guard that wants to be the best, and if you look at some of his recent comments, they remind you a lot of young Kobe who sounded arrogant and cocky at times. And same as young Bryant, Jimmy Butler defends his words with actions on the floor. The Lakers vs Bulls game at the Staples Center is number three in the Top 5 Lakers Games in January.

Lakers at Clippers, January 29

NBA Top 5 Lakers Games in JanuaryThis will a second game of a back-to-back set, so Kobe might not be playing. However, given the fact that the Lakers play at home the previous night, and they stay in the same town, coach Byron Scott might let Kobe go. This will be the first time the two teams meet after their Christmas matchup. The Lakers are the host of the Christmas match up, and the Clippers are the host of this one. Even if Kobe doesn’t play, city rivalry between the Lakers and the Clippers is more interesting in recent years, particularly with the rise of the Clippers and the downfall of the Lakers. The Lakers vs Clippers game is number two in the Top 5 Lakers Games in January.

Warriors at Lakers, January 5

The last time these two meet, the Warriors routed the Lakers 111-77. It was on the second night of back to back, so Kobe was given a rest. After the game, Kobe said that even if he was playing, he wouldn’t have made much of a difference. This time, the Lakers are home at the Staples Center for five days before the game, and they will have a day off for rest. Add in the fact that Kobe is playing better in his past five games, averaging 25 points to go along with 5 rebounds and 5 assists, and you might get a great matchup. Kobe himself has admitted that he can’t get to the spots he wants as fast he would like to, but he can still get to them. And then you have one of the fastest players on the opposite floor in Klay Thompson, who believes he is the best shooting guard in the league now. Sounds good enough? The Lakers vs Warriors game is number one in the Top 5 Lakers Games in January.

Top 5 Clippers Games In January 2016

Top 5 Clippers Games in January

Top 5 Clippers Games in January will feature Lebron James, Dwight Howard, Derick Rose and Chris Bosh. The Clippers will play fourteen games in January 2016 and are looking to improve on their fourth seed position in the Western Conference.

Top 5 Clippers Games in JanuaryHeat at Clippers, January 13 ESPN
Tickets start at $26.00
The Miami Heat visit the Clippers for their first duel of the season. Chris Bosh and Blake Griffin are now veteran players at the power forward position. Both have altered their game to become more of a scoring threat from outside of the paint. Bosh is a better 3-pt shooter, but Blake is not far behind. And then you have the duel at the center position between two of the best shot blockers in the league at the moment, Hassan Whiteside versus DeAndre Jordan. Who will have more blocks when the game is over? And we haven’t even mentioned the duel in the back-court that might decide the outcome of the game. The Clippers and Heat is number 5 in the Top 5 Clippers Games In January.

Clippers at Cleveland, January 21
Tickets start at $62.00
The Clippers will make their lone visit to Cleveland in January, and then they will have to wait a little for the King and his company to come to Los Angeles. Tons of matchups can define this game, but it all starts at the point guard position, where Kyrie Irving is slowly coming back from injury. Playing against an old school player like Chris Paul is not easy, but Kyrie is the faster one. The Clippers still do not have a valid defender at the small forward position, which only makes life easier for Lebron James. The Clippers – Cavaliers is number 3 in the Top 5 Clippers Games In January.

LA Clippers DeAndre JordanClippers at Raptors, January 24
Tickets start at $65
When the Raptors were in Los Angeles, they completely dominated the Clippers until late in the fourth quarter when the Clippers made the game look close. The final score was 91-80 for the Raptors, as Toronto managed to hold the Clippers to season low in scored points. You can be sure that the Clippers would love to return the favor in Toronto. The last time the two faced, Chris Paul was having one of his worst games of the season. He will have plenty of motivation. The Clippers vs Raptors is number 3 in the Top 5 Clippers Games In January.

Bulls at Clippers, January 31
Tickets start at $59.00
One can safely say that January is a redemption month for the Clippers, as they will face several foils that have made their life harder so far. To finish the year, the Clippers will face the Bulls, a team that beat them 83-80 in Chicago. Blake Griffin was ejected for flagrant 2 foul in the game, and he wasn’t able to help his team in the last quarter. Will he be able to control his temper now? And what about that duel between Derick Rose and Chris Paul? The Clippers vs Bulls is number 1 in the Top 5 Clippers Games In January.

January 18, Rockets at Clippers
Tickets start at $36.00
For the Clippers, beating the Rockets at least once this season will be a confidence booster. The Rockets might not be the team from last season, but they have managed to dominate the Clippers so far. In the first two games of the season, Houston won 109-105 and 107-97. Now, with the last game of the season between the two in January, the Clippers have several reasons to look for revenge. Josh Smith came from the Rockets over the summer, but he still hasn’t managed to make an impact, and his name is already on the trade block. Maybe a game against his old team will make his juices flowing. The Rockets versus Clippers is number 1 in the Top 5 Clippers Games In January as the match up has the potential to be a NBA playoffs preview. Currently the LA Clippers are sitting in the fourth seed and the Houston Rockets are in the seventh seed. The Clippers are 0-2 against the Houston Rockets this season.

December Clippers Game Schedule

December Clippers Games Start at $9.00

December Clippers Games

December Clippers GamesHere is a look at December Clippers games for both their home games at the Staples Center as well as their away games. Last season there were seventeen December Clippers games. The Clippers ended the month of December winning eleven and losing six. The Clippers went 10-1 at the Staples Center during the month of December.

Pacers at Clippers, December 2
Tickets Start at $20.00
One of the reasons Paul George was against the idea of playing power forward was the fear of going against strong players like Blake Griffin. Well, he will get to experience the full wrath of Blake, as the Clippers power forward will try to bully the Clippers into the win.

Magic at Clippers, December 5
Tickets Start at $35.00
The Clippers will look to exploit the matchups they have advantage, and the first one is obvious, CP3 is going against a second year player at point guard, playing against Elfrid Payton. Back in the post, DeAndre Jordan will get to earn his paycheck trying to defend one of the best and most underrated centers in the league in Nicola Vucevic.
December Clippers Games promotion for fans in attendance at the Staples Center! Big night out meets Downtown Basketball. Every Saturday Night Home Game. Next DTLAC game: Saturday, 01/02 vs. Philly (7:30pm)

Clippers at Timberwolves, December 7
Tickets Start at $18.00
Two great point guards with excellent court vision will share the floor, as Ricky Rubio and Chris Paul will try to work the angles and find passes that nobody else is seeing. In the paint, Blake Griffin will get a first crack at the No.1 pick from the 2015 Draft, Karl-Anthony Towns. Town is playing excellent defense to start the season, but can he stop a behemoth like Blake Griffin?

LA Clippers Chris PaulClippers at Bucks, December 9
Tickets Start at $13.00
It is offense versus defense in this one, as the Clippers are one of the best offensive teams playing one of the best defensive teams in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks. There will be plenty of interesting matchups, including the one of the leading point guards in steals, Michael-Carter Williams and Chris Paul. For fans of the post play, Griffin and Jordan will have their hands full with Greg Monroe.

Clippers at Bulls, December 10
Tickets Start at $58.00
With so many young point guards taking the stage, Chris Paul and Derrick Rose can be classified as veterans in this league. But they are not as old as people might think, and both are trying to show they still belong in the top 5 point guards conversation. The Clippers will have to find someone to guard Jimmy Butler, as the Bulls wing is growing into one of the best two-way players. Lance Stephenson or Wesley Johnson will be best situated for the job.

Clippers at Nets, December 12
Tickets Start at $15.00
In an era where centers are stepping outside to the perimeter, it is refreshing to play someone who is still making his money in the paint. Enter Broke Lopez, a talented center that can score 25+ points on a given night. It will be up to DeAndre Jordan to show he is still one of the best defensive players in the league. At the point guard position, two crafty players in Jarrett Jack and Chris Paul will square off.

Clippers at Pistons, December 14
Tickets start at $9.00
Defense is one of the reasons the Clippers are not having the start many were expecting of them, and paint defense is a big reason why. Enter the Pistons and their dominant young center Andre Drummond. While he scores most of his points on dunks and putbacks, he is almost impossible to stop when he is near the basket. DeAndre Jordan will have to box him out, but can he succeed that for the whole game?

Hello Kitty Night December Clippers GamesBucks at Clippers, December 16
Tickets Start at $31.00
One week after playing the Bucks in Milwaukee, the Clippers will welcome them in Los Angeles, where the young Bucks will have to show they are up for the challenge. The Bucks are an underrated team, but their length makes them one of the few teams that can compete with the Clippers when athleticism is the standard. Giannis Antekounpo and Chris Middleton are two athletic players that the Clippers will have to find a way to stop.
December Clippers Games promotion for fans in attendance at the Staples Center! Limited Edition Clippers Hello Kitty Scarf on 12/16 vs. the Milwaukee Bucks at Staples Center.

Clippers at Spurs, December 18
Tickets Start at $60.00
Take your pick, Parker versus Chris Paul, J.J. Redick against Danny Green, Duncan versus Jordan, or Blake Griffin against Lamarcus Aldridge? There is not a single matchup in the starting five that is lopsided, except maybe for Kawhi Leonard against Wesley Johnson. One of the reasons why this matchup is as interesting is how equal and close the teams are in talent level.

LA Clippers Blake GriffinClippers at Rockets, December 19
Tickets Start at $40.00
The Rockets and the Clippers are two biggest disappointments at the start of the season in the Western Conference. The two teams that were at the top of the Conference last year, are not at the bottom. Maybe the duel between the two will bring the best out of the teams, and the Clippers and the Rockets will turn the page around.

Thunder at Clippers, December 21
Tickets Start at $90.00
It is always interesting to see Westbrook going against Chris Paul. While CP3 operates mostly on intelligence, craftiness and smart play, Westbrook uses his explosiveness and athleticism to bully opposing point guards. These two go against each other with all that they have. But the Clippers will also have to find someone to guard Kevin Durant. CP3 did it once in the playoffs two years ago, but that was only for short bursts.
December Clippers Games promotion for fans in attendance at the Staples Center! Clipper Nation, your chance is HERE to win 4 seats on the floor in the Jerome’s Furniture Lounge throughout the 2015-16 season!

Clippers at Lakers, December 25
Tickets Start at $130.00
The battle for LA hasn’t been so lopsided in a while, at least not for the Clippers. The “other” team in Los Angeles is becoming the first time in the past few seasons thanks to its superior players. Blake Griffin and CP3 will both have young players against them, and you can only assume that the veterans will try to exploit the matchup. But do not forget the duel between Pierce and Kobe Bryant, at least from sentimental reasons.

Clippers at Jazz, December 26
Tickets Start at $32.00
DeAndre Jordan was Rudy Gobert few seasons ago, tall, athletic center that can block and alter shots at the rim. He is now much more, and the Jazz hope that Gobert will become as good as or even better than Jordan. Be as it be, the Clippers will have troubles scoring in the paint with Gobert manning the middle

Clippers at Wizards, December 28
Tickets Start at $28.00
It doesn’t get much better than John Wall against Chris Paul. Then there is the shooters duel between J.J. Redick and Bradley Beal. And once you get in the paint, the Polish Hammer will sure try to outplay DeAndre Jordan.

Clippers at Hornets, December 30
Tickets Start at $30.00
It is a game tailor made for DeAndre Jordan to show his value on the defensive end, as he will have to go against one of the most talented big men in the league in Al Jefferson. Kemba Walker against Chris Paul is another matchup worth watching, as Walker’s game is very similar to the one of CP3.

Clippers at Pelicans, December 31
Tickets Start at $20.00
The Clippers will end the season playing against Anthony Davis, the best young big man, and some might say even the best big man in the league at the moment. Both Griffin and Jordan will have their hands full with Davis, as the young big man can now shoot for 3, post up, and also dunk on almost everyone that is standing in front of him.

December Clippers Games Outcomes:
With the Clippers struggling to get their groove here is a quick look at the 2014-15 December Clippers games outcomes.

The December Clippers games at the Staples Center last season saw them beat the Atlanta Hawks, Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards. The only December Clippers games loss at home was against the Indiana Pacers.

The December Clippers Games loses on the road last season came at the hands of the Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns and the Utah Jazz.

This season the December Clippers game home schedule will only have them playing four times. The Pacers, Magic, Bucks and Thunder will all make their way to the Staples Center in December.

NBA Christmas Day Schedule

NBA Christmas Day Schedule – Five Reasons to Tune in

The National Basketball Association released the NBA official schedule for the 2015-2016 season, and as always, NBA Christmas Day schedule and games are cream of the crop. Many people believe that the official season in the NBA starts after Christmas day, when teams get their feet wet and contenders emerge, while pretenders fall back in the standings. Here are five reasons to tune in on Christmas Day and spend the day and the night watching basketball.

NBA Christmas Day Schedule

Miami Heat vs. New Orleans Pelicans 12:00PM ET

The NBA Christmas Day Schedule kicks off with the Heat hosting the Pelicans and the young rising star, Anthony Davis. This will be the first time fans get to see Davis play on a Christmas day, and the young star will surely not disappoint. The Heat are regulars on Christmas day for the past several years, and they always put on a show. This year’s Christmas day games will be competitive, with almost every team making the playoffs the year before and watching Davis probably destroying the Heat is a nice appetizer.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Chicago Bulls 2:30PM ET

Since the World Cup in 2010, Chicago’s Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant from the Thunder have been marketed as the next generation stars in the NBA. And While Durant has established himself as one of the top 5 players in the league, Rose won an MVP award following the World Cup, but has been injured ever since. The Thunder and the Bulls were and still are up and coming teams, and they have had several Christmas day matchups in the past few years. The two teams play either on opening night, or on Christmas. And since they meet just twice during the regular season, watching them on Christmas makes it that much more special.

Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers 5:00PM ET

The Cavs at Warriors matchup is the highlight of the NBA Christmas day schedule. This will be the first time the two teams meet after the Finals, and this time, the Cavs might be healthy. With Love, James, Irving, Curry, Thompson, Green and Iguodala, there are more than enough stars on the floor to entice your attention. Toss in Lebron’s motivation for revenge, and this might turn into a playoff atmosphere game, if not Finals atmosphere. By Christmas, we might even know the roster for Team USA, and both Curry and Irving compete for a spot. If one of them doesn’t make the cut, he will definitely have a reason more to go at the other.

Houston Rockets vs. San Antonio Spurs 8:00PM ET

The battle for supremacy between Texas teams is one of the most interesting and intriguing in the league. The Christmas Day schedule will take us to Houston, where the Rockets will welcome the new, refreshed Spurs team that is hoping to get back to the Finals. The Rockets have the same goal in mind, with this being a crucial year for them as Dwight Howard is nearing free agency. The Rockets have their own Big Three in Howard, Harden and Ty Lawson. And if Lawson manages to keep his head in the game, the race to the division title in the Southwest division might be one for the ages.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Los Angeles Clippers Tickets 10:30PM ET

It is the swan song for Kobe Bryant, one of the best players in the past 20 years. Bryant left a significant stamp on the league, and this might be the last time fans get to see him on Christmas. Kobe has hinted this might be his last season in the league, and it will all depend on his health at the end of the season. But coming back from serious injuries the past two seasons, one has to wonder how long till Kobe says enough is enough. The Lakers Clippers game is the last game on the 2015 NBA Christmas Day Schedule.

Golden State Warriors NBA Record

Will the Warriors Win Championship

Four reasons the Warriors win championship

The four teams remaining in the NBA playoffs are the four best teams from the 2014 – 2015 season. They finished first and second in the West and first and second in the East. However, out of the four, many factors points that the Golden State Warriors are the favorites to win the Championship. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets Tickets all have a shot, but the stars are aligned for the Warriors this season. Here are four reasons why the Warriors Win Championship.

Health

Every team needs luck and health in order to win a championship. Sometimes an injury to a key player can cost a team their shot for title. Just ask the Oklahoma City Thunder, who were without Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka the past two playoffs. Out of the four remaining teams, the Warriors are the healthiest squad. Take the Cleveland Cavaliers tickets for example, who are left playing without one of their Big Three (Kevin Love), all while Kyrie Irving is nursing a knee injury and playing through the pain. The Atlanta Hawks have their own share of injuries, with reports that DeMarre Carroll might be done for the playoffs. Carroll is Atlanta’s best defender and role player. The Rockets have to start Jason Terry at point guard and also play Pablo Prigioni, two liabilities on defense. That is one of the reasons why Steph Curry is killing the Rockets in the West Finals.

Consistency

Consistency is a huge factor in the success of the team, and many teams underestimate the factor. Even the Miami Heat with James, Wade and Bosh in their prime years needed one year to learn to play with each other. The starting five of the Warriors is playing together for two and a half seasons now. The Hawks also have consistency on their side, but the Warriors have more talent. The Rockets had to endure half a season without Dwight Howard, and they practically changed half their role players from a season ago.

They play both ends of the floor

The Warriors and the Cavaliers are two teams that are in top 5 in both offensive and defensive efficiency. The Warriors defense has been mediocre in the first round, but the team has picked it up since then. They have won few games thanks to their defense. And they still have the best offense in the playoffs, tied with the Cavs at 107 points per 100 possessions. Out of the four remaining teams, only the Houston Rockets allow 100+ points per game. The Hawks are great defensively, but their offense is not clicking, scoring just 101 points per 100 possessions with lower efficiency than the Warriors and the Cavs.

They have the MVP

While statistics show that rarely the regular season MVP leads his team to Championship, Steph Curry has the chance to be one of those players. In the past seasons, only 22 times has the player who won the MVP award won a title with his team. And only 15 players have managed to do it. Michael Jordan did it four times, Russell did it four times, Bird did it two times and so on. The thing about Curry is that he is playing like an MVP in the playoffs as well. Curry has managed to bump his points to 28.7 per game, and averages 5.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.8 steals per game. His assists might be down, but Curry is managing to take over games, taking more shots, but still being extremely efficient, shooting 45% from the floor and 42% from behind the 3-pt line.

Good thing that LaMarcus Aldridge decided to postpone his thumb operation. If he was to miss the next 6-8 weeks, the Blazers would have a hard time to keep their position in the West. And even with Aldridge in uniform, it won’t be an easy task, given the Blazers February schedule and the challenges that lie ahead. While Portland will play most of its games in February at home, the visitors are teams that are in the top of the West, or should be there. Here is a breakdown of Blazers February Schedule and their toughest games.

The Trail Blazers attendance during January averaged 19,501. This is up 0.80% from their 2014 averaged attendance of 19,346. Top 5 Portland Trail Blazers February Schedule Games.

Blazers @ Mavericks American Airlines Center February 7th
Starting price $40 | Average price $60
The Mavs and the Blazers are very close in the standings. A win here and there might decide whether the team finishes 3rd or sixth in the standings. Therefore, their direct duels are of huge importance for both teams. The Blazers do have the second best defense in the league, but they will be hard pressed to stop the Mavericks from scoring. They managed that in their first duel of the season, holding the Mavs to 87 points. View Tickets.

Blazers @ Rockets Toyota Center February 8th
Starting price $33 | Average price $53
The Blazers have their only back to back set in February in Texas. The day after visiting the Mavericks and their top offense, the Blazers pay a visit to the Rockets and James Harden, arguably one of the top 3 scorers in the league at the moment. The first duel finished with a win for the Rockets, so Portland would look to avenge their loss. View Tickets.

Grizzlies @ Blazers Moda Center February 22th
Starting price $35 | Average price $65
At the beginning of the month and their February schedule, the Blazers face tough opponents on the road. At the end of the month, they have the privilege of hosting the matchups. First on the list of tough opponents is Memphis, the second best team in the West at the moment. The Blazers are yet to win a game versus the Grizzlies this season, so this might be a good chance to do so. View Tickets.

Spurs @ Blazers Moda Center February 25th
Starting price $26 | Average price $62
This year, the Blazers look different when playing the Spurs. Last year, for example, they were routed both during the regular season and the playoffs. Portland managed to win the first two matchups, but with Kawhi Leonard in the lineup, the Spurs are a different team. View Tickets.

Thunder @ Blazers Moda Center February 27th
Starting price $49 | Average price $104
Don’t let the Thunder rankings fool you, OKC is still one of the top 4 teams in the West. With everyone healthy, the Thunder are slowly finding their groove and racking up wins, both ugly and easy. While everyone expected Portland and Oklahoma City to battle for the division title, the Blazers have it in their pocket thanks to the injuries suffered by Thunder players. But OKC is still dangerous, and the team must win almost every game in order to qualify for the playoffs. View Tickets.

Clippers February Schedule

Clippers February Schedule at Staples Center

With a big matchup in Portland versus the Trail Blazers followed by a home date with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers it was a big week of basketball for the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers split with the Blazers and Cavs. The Clippers defeated the Sacramento Kings to finish 2-1 during the week.

Week Recap: Wednesday night the Clippers made the trip to Portland to face the Trail Blazers, who are currently in second place in the Western Conference behind the Golden State Warriors. Los Angeles prevailed 100-94, earning a big road victory behind a big effort off the bench by Jamal Crawford. The long-time 6th man scored 25 points off the bench, including a big three pointer to give the Clippers the lead for good with 3:55 left. Chris Paul had 23 points with DeAndre Jordan adding 17 points and 18 rebounds. The victory over Portland set up a highly anticipated nationally televised game versus Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night at STAPLES Center. After losing 7 of 8 games with James resting due to multiple injuries, the Cavaliers were in turmoil coming in with many questioning the long term future of first year head coach David Blatt. As he has done so many times before, James had a big effort at STAPLES Center, leading the Cavaliers to a 126-121 victory in a wild game. The Clippers had six players in double figures with Blake Griffin leading the way with 34 points and 19 rebounds. Center DeAndre Jordan added 19 rebounds and 12 rebounds. It was a frustrating loss for the Clippers who gave up a season-high in points versus a Cavs team that had been struggling. The Clippers had very little rest, heading north to Sacramento to face the Kings on Saturday night with just a nights rest. The game was tied at halftime, but the Clippers pulled away with a solid second half. Blake Griffin led five Clippers in scoring with 30 points, with Matt Barnes adding 26, including four three-pointers. Chris Paul, JJ Redick and Jamal Crawford also scored in double figures for the Clippers.

Up Next for the Clippers: The Clippers have a winnable a game with the struggling Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night. The Clippers cap off the week with a big Sunday game versus the talented Phoenix Suns in Phoenix. With some winnable games coming up the Clippers will look to build some real momentum and perhaps an extended winning streak. Although they are in the thick of playoff contention in the Western Conference, Los Angeles hasn’t had the extended winning streaks that they’ve had in recent seasons. The can kick that off with wins in favored games versus the Celtics and Nets and a big road victory in Phoenix on Sunday night.

Here is a look at the Top 5 Games the Grizzlies have coming up in 2015

Grizzlies @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, January 27,
Starting price $17, Average price $45
The Grizzlies won the first duel, but the Mavericks still managed to score 100+ points. The challenge here for Memphis is to prove they can hold the best offensive team in the league bellow 100 points, and do so on the opposing floor. Hardly an easy task, but the Grizzlies have the skill, talent and focus to do it. While all eyes might be on the matchups in the post, Rondo versus Conley is an interesting matchup at the point guard position that might change the course of the results. View Mavericks vs Grizzlies Tickets for the American Airlines Arena.

Hawks @ Grizzlies, FedEx Forums, February 8,
Starting price $10, Average price $26
The Atlanta Hawks are arguably the best team in the league, certainly the hottest, winners of 20 in the past 22 games. They are the Spurs of the East, and are playing one of the best basketball at the moment. They’ve beat the Grizzlies during their recent streak, in Atlanta. Winning versus the Hawks is purely for confidence.View Grizzlies vs Hawks Tickets for the FedEx Forum.

Grizzlies @ Rockets, Toyota Center, March 4,
Starting Price $24, Average price $54
The Rockets are one of the few teams in the NBA that have a positive record versus the Grizzlies this year. Even the one time the Grizzlies won, Houston was playing with an injured Dwight Howard. The teams are very close in the rankings, and the tie breaker might decide the ranking between the two, and home court advantage. The Grizzlies are guaranteed to play versus one of their division rivals in the playoffs. View Rockets vs Grizzlies Tickets for the Toyota Center.

Warriors @ Grizzlies, FedEx Forum, March 27,
Starting price $15, Average price $52
A month ago, the Grizzlies and the Warriors were the top 2 teams in the West, and in the league. While the Warriors still sit at the top of the Western Conference, Memphis has slipped a bit, and lost more games. Winning versus Golden State is not easy, and Memphis has managed to win one. But that was without Andrew Bogut in the lineup. Also worth noting, Golden State is the best defensive team in the league. For a team that struggles to score like Memphis, this is a challenge. View all Grizzlies vs Warriors Tickets for the Fed Ex Forum.

Grizzlies @ Spurs, AT&T Center, March 29,
Starting price $15, Average price $45
At the moment, Grizzlies hold the tiebreaker, having won two of the three games this season. If they manage to win the last one in San Antonio, they are guaranteed home court advantage versus the Champions. The two teams share a great playoff history. The Grizzlies knocked the Spurs out of the playoffs few seasons ago, and did it as the 8th seed. Two years ago, the Spurs schooled the Grizzlies. Dallas Mavericks March Schedule

Mavericks Ticket Price Down 21% In 2015

The Dallas Mavericks are officially “All in” for this season. Trading for Rajon Rondo ensures that. The Mavericks decided to make one more move to try and get over the hump. Will they succeed? We will find out. However, it is worth noting that their defense has been improved with Rondo in the lineup. The nifty point guard is an upgrade over anyone the Mavs had before him the past two seasons. For Dallas, winning the division could go a long way in their hunt for a title. Winning the division ensures they have home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs at least. Sadly, for Dallas, the South West is one of the toughest in the NBA right now. Their most important games left in the season are mostly against division rivals.

At the end of 2014 the average Dallas Mavericks ticket price was $76.00 per ticket which has dropped by 21.05% starting off the 2015 part of the season to $60.00 per ticket.

Starting price $66, Average price $89
The Bulls are one of the best defensive teams in the league. Therefore, it is strange that the first duel between the two teams ended 132-129 in favor of the Bulls. View Mavericks vs Bulls tickets for the American Airlines Arena.

Rockets @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, February 20th,
Starting price $23, Average price $94
This is the first duel this season between the teams in Dallas, and their third matchup of the season. Houston hosted the first one and won, and they will host the second in January. The difference between the division rivals in the South West is two or three wins, so every game versus division teams counts. For Dallas, the February 20 matchup will be extremely hard, given the fact they play in Oklahoma City against the Thunder the night before. View Mavericks vs Rockets tickets for the American Airlines Arena.

Grizzlies @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, March 20th,
Starting price $16, Average price $99
You can say the week from March 20 to March 27 is of extreme importance to the Mavericks and their standings in the Western conference playoffs race. The March 24 game is the first one of a home and home duel between the two teams.View Mavericks vs Spurs tickets for the American Airlines Arena.

Suns @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, April 8th,

View Mavericks vs Suns tickets for the American Airlines Arena.

On The Road

Mavericks @ Warriors
Oracle Arena Feb 5th & March 6th 2015
With plenty of time still to go in the regular NBA season schedule if the Mav’s want to catch the Golden State Warriors the two meetings at the Oracle Arena will be extremely important. If for any reason it will give the Mavericks a good taste of what might become in the Playoffs. Currently the Mavericks are 13-5 on road and heading into the Warriors house where they are 15-1 so far this season will make this match up a 100% definite one to watch. Mavericks @ Warriors tickets are averaging $59.00 per ticket for the Oracle Arena.

Mavericks @ Trail Blazers
Moda Center March 6th 2015
The Trail Blazers are currently in second place in the Western Conference and two games behind Golden State. They are currently the hottest team in the West as they are 8-2 in their last 10 games and lost to the Mavs already once this season on Nov 6th.
