Dallas Mavericks March Schedule

Dallas Mavericks March Schedule

The difference between the third spot and the seventh spot in the West is 2.5 games. Which means, a losing streak here, and a winning streak there can be the difference between home-court advantage and playing on the road. There is no easy opponent, as every team in the West is a legit title contender. Matchups will decide, as some teams match up better with others. But for every team, getting home court at least in the first round is essential. This includes Dallas as well. Mavericks March Schedule is packed with games versus other playoff teams from the West, making the month hard to “survive”. Here is a breakdown of Mavericks March Schedule.

The Dallas Mavericks rank third in attendance for home games at the American Airlines Center with an average of 20,102 (-0.37%) a game. On the road, they average 17,509 (-0.61%) according to ESPN. Top 5 games coming up for the Mavericks March Schedule.

Mavericks @ Blazers Moda Center, March 5th
Starting price $24 | Average price $64
The first week of March will be a hard one for the Mavs, as they have a tough back to back set to play. Their first opponent during the set is the Trail Blazers, a team they’ve split the first two games with. But in the game in Portland, the Mavs and their top offence were held to just 87 points. If they want to win, the Mavericks will have to find a way to beat Portland’s great defence. View Tickets

Mavericks @ Warriors Oracle Arena, March 6,
Starting price $73 | Average price $112
The Mavs have a problem with quality Western conference teams this season. They have a losing record with almost any other playoff team in the West. And they have yet to beat the Warriors. Golden State is 2-0 versus the Mavs this year. One of the games was close, but the second one was a rout. View Tickets

Cavaliers @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, March 10th
Starting price $62 | Average price $81
This will be LeBron James lone visit to Dallas this season. The Mavs beat the Cavaliers in Cleveland, but that game is long forgotten. The game was back when LeBron James was resting, and the Cavs hadn’t started their winning streak. The team that will come to Dallas in March will be a lot different than the one they played in January.

Clippers @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, March 13,
Starting price $38 | Average price $72
The Clippers beat the Mavs two times this season. The possibility of a first-round matchup looms, as the teams might finish as the 4th and 5th seed in the West. It is always positive for the moral and the confidence of the team to beat their playoff opponent at least once during the regular season. The Clippers are also direct rival for a higher seed.

Mavericks @ Spurs, AT&T Center March 27
Starting price $57 | Average price $89
The teams will play home and home games on March 24 and 27, with no games in between. Their first two duels were decided by 5 points or less, and in both games, the home team won. Dallas hasn’t won in San Antonio in a while, and this will be their last chance this season. The Mavs and the Spurs might meet only in the second round of the playoffs.View Tickets

Atlanta Hawks February Schedule

Atlanta Hawks February Schedule Of NBA Games

The Atlanta Hawks February Schedule is very kind to them. While there are duels with the top teams in both conferences, there are also duels with bottom feeders such as Minnesota and Boston. Atlanta has managed to win almost all of their games following Thanksgiving, losing only twice since then, but the real test is still ahead. The top spot in the East is nearly wrapped up. Even though they’re almost 40 games to be played, the Hawks have a huge lead of 7+ games, and they are likely to fall.

The Hawks February Schedule of games at the Philips Center is averaging $105.00 per ticket. Hawks average ticket prices are up 16.66% since the January 1st. Atlanta is looking to have a much better February in the 2014-15 than last season. In the 2013-14 Hawks February schedule of games, they went 2-10.

The Hawks February schedule looks like this

.

Wizards @ Hawks Phillips Arena February 4
Starting price $16, Average price $40
The Wizards are the second best team in the East, but the Hawks have already spanked them twice, both home and on the road. However, the duel between the top two teams in the conference is always appealing, and who knows, Washington might finally find a way to beat Atlanta. The task starts on the defensive end, where the Hawks get too many open looks and transition points.

Warriors @ Hawks Phillips Arena February 6th
Starting price $111 | Average price $150
The duel everyone waits for will finally happen. Nobody expected the Warriors and the Hawks to be the top teams at this point of the season. However, the two teams are playing the best basketball at the moment. Both teams are in the midst of a great winning streak. Who will win the first duel between the two? We will surely find out and then wait for their next duel in March.

Hawks @ Celtics TD Garden February 11th
Starting price $17 | Average price $37
As mention, the Hawks February Schedule includes few games versus easy opponents. The Celtics are one of those teams that might come as a welcome breather for the Hawks. Even though Boston is playing good lately, winning three of the past four games, Boston is not a team that can scare the Hawks off. This game is also one of the few road games the Hawks play in February.

Raptors @ Hawks Phillips Arena February 20th
Starting price $31 | Average price $88
The Raptors are the only team to beat the Hawks two times this season. Additionally, the Raptors are also one of the few teams to score 100+ points two times versus the Hawks. Toronto was the best team in the East a month ago, but the Hawks have gotten the first spot, and even made a huge difference that it will be hard for anyone to catch them. The duel will feature an interesting battle at the point guard position, where Teague will be tested versus Kyle Lowry.

Mavericks @ Hawks Phillips Arena February 25th
Starting price $27 | Average price $45
The Mavs are the second-best offensive team in the league, and will surely pose a challenge for the defence of the Hawks. The first matchup between the two teams was a close one, with Atlanta winning 105 – 102. The Mavs had Rondo back then, but he is now more adapted to his role in the offense and defense.

Memphis Grizzlies

Grizzles Average Ticket Price is up 44%

The Memphis Grizzlies were one of the top teams in the NBA, arguably legit championship contender. But even contenders need help. For the Memphis Grizzlies, the improvement and help come in the form of Jeff Green. The Grizzlies are the latest Western Conference playoff team to pull a trade an in a hope to get over the hump. The Grizzlies play in the toughest division in the NBA at the moment, with four legit contenders in Dallas, Memphis, Houston and San Antonio, plus a young playoff team in New Orleans. Winning the division will be hard, but it might help in the playoffs.

Here is a look at the Top 5 Games the Grizzlies have coming up in 2015

Grizzlies @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, January 27,
Starting price $17, Average price $45
The Grizzlies won the first duel, but the Mavericks still managed to score 100+ points. The challenge here for Memphis is to prove they can hold the best offensive team in the league bellow 100 points, and do so on the opposing floor. Hardly an easy task, but the Grizzlies have the skill, talent and focus on doing it. While all eyes might be on the matchups in the post, Rondo versus Conley is an interesting matchup at the point guard position that might change the course of the results. Hawks @ Grizzlies, FedEx Forums, February 8,
Starting price $10, Average price $26
The Atlanta Hawks are arguably the best team in the league, certainly the hottest, winners of 20 in the past 22 games. They are the Spurs of the East and are playing one of the best basketball at the moment. They’ve beaten the Grizzlies during their recent streak, in Atlanta. Winning versus the Hawks is purely for confidence.View Grizzlies vs Hawks Tickets for the FedEx Forum.

Grizzlies @ Rockets, Toyota Center, March 4,
Starting Price $24, Average price $54
The Rockets are one of the few teams in the NBA that have a positive record versus the Grizzlies this year. Even the one time the Grizzlies won, Houston was playing with an injured Dwight Howard. The teams are very close in the rankings, and the tie breaker might decide the ranking between the two, and home court advantage. The Grizzlies are guaranteed to play versus one of their division rivals in the playoffs. View Rockets vs Grizzlies Tickets for the Toyota Center.

Warriors @ Grizzlies, FedEx Forum, March 27,
Starting price $15, Average price $52
A month ago, the Grizzlies and the Warriors were the top 2 teams in the West, and in the league. While the Warriors still sit at the top of the Western Conference, Memphis has slipped a bit and lost more games. Winning versus Golden State is not easy, and Memphis has managed to win one. But that was without Andrew Bogut in the lineup. Also worth noting, Golden State is the best defensive team in the league. For a team that struggles to score like Memphis, this is a challenge. View all Grizzlies vs Warriors Tickets for the Fed Ex Forum.

Grizzlies @ Spurs, AT&T Center, March 29,
Starting price $15, Average price $45
At the moment, Grizzlies hold the tiebreaker, having won two of the three games this season. If they manage to win the last one in San Antonio, they are guaranteed home-court advantage versus the Champions. The two teams share a great playoff history. The Grizzlies knocked the Spurs out of the playoffs few seasons ago and did it as the 8th seed. Two years ago, the Spurs schooled the Grizzlies. Blake Griffin LA Clippers

Warriors & Bulls Top Clippers List of Top 5 Games in 2015

The Clippers are one of the Western Conference teams that still hasn’t made the push for “WIN NOW” mode. While some of the contenders, namely Houston and Dallas invested a lot in this season, the Clippers are still treading water. Not that they have a terrible team, especially with Blake and CP3 on it, but it looks like they are one piece away (small forward) from contending for a championship. Whether or not they will make a deal, we will find out by the trade deadline. In the meantime, the following are the most important games for the Clippers, both for their standings and confidence for the playoffs.

Spurs @ Clippers, February 19th Staples Center,
Starting price $23, Average price $93
The Spurs have beaten the Clippers twice this season once at home, and once on the road. Simply put, the Spurs know their way with the Clippers. While many say the regular season has nothing to do with the playoffs, it would be good if the Clippers can find a way to beat the Spurs, since they will most likely face them in the playoffs in their quest for a title. On paper, the Spurs look very beatable currently with a 10-9 road record vs the Clippers 17-6 home record as well as the Clippers have a better record against teams in the Western Conference 14-6 where the Spurs are 14-13, but the Spurs don’t play on paper and keep finding ways to win. View all Clippers vs Spurs Tickets at the Staples Center.

Clippers @ Grizzlies February 27th FedEx Forum,
Starting price $25, Average price $67
The Clippers know a thing or two about winning in Memphis, where they’ve won the previous six games before this season. This season, the Memphis Grizzlies have built a fortress in the Forum. The Grizzlies are also a team that allows minimal points in the paint, and one that can battle Clippers big men. The Clippers love to attack the paint, but with Marc Gasol patrolling there, it will be a hard task. Given the fact that Memphis will be one of the higher ranked seeds in the West, to get to the Finals, the Clippers will need to win a game or two in the Forum. View Clippers at Grizzlies tickets for the Fed Ex Forum.

Clippers @ Mavericks, February 9th American Airlines Center,
Starting price $16, Average price $72
The two teams in the top 3 offensive rating haven’t played yet this season. The game in Dallas will be an excellent test for both the Clippers and Mavericks, and one can expect nothing less than a high scoring game with lots of shooting. Additionally, the game will feature two of the best true point guards in Rajon Rondo and CP3. View Mavericks vs Clippers tickets for the American Airlines Center.

Clippers @ Bulls, March 1st United Center,
Starting price $88, Average price $110
The Bulls humiliated the Clippers at the Staples Center this season. To prove themselves as a championship contender, the Clippers must win a game or two on the road versus other contenders. And when it comes to the East, the Chicago Bulls are as good as it gets. With a great defense, big men in the post, and Butler and Rose on the perimeter, the Bulls are an excellent test for the Clippers and their championship aspirations. View Bulls vs Clippers tickets for the United Center.

Warriors @ Clippers March 31st Staples Center,
Starting price $45, Average price $117
The Clippers close the season series with the Warriors, a team they have battled before at home. They play in Golden State earlier in March, and they are currently 1-1 versus the Warriors, putting even more priority on their home game versus GSW. If they want to get to the Finals, the road to there will likely be through Golden State, a team currently ranked first in the West. View Clippers vs Warriors tickets for the Staples Center.

Golden State Warriors All-Time Leaders

GS Warriors Ticket Prices Climb 57% in 2015

Many factors point to the fact that the Golden State Warriors are a championship contender. One of the more reliable is that they rank in the top 10 in both offensive and defensive rating. If defence wins championships, GSW has the best defence in the league this season. But their offence is also improved and is now more team-oriented, with fewer isolations and more assists. Steve Kerr has managed to install a new culture, and till now, he is a premium candidate for coach of the year, while Curry is in the conversation for MVP.

The Warriors not only have the best record currently in the NBA they are beasts at the Chase Center with a 15-1 record. They are ranked 7th in home attendance with an average of 19,596 per game (100%) which is a 35.72% increase since their low in 2001 and up 8% from their 2010 attendance average of 18,207 and up 1.15% from their 2013 attendance average.

Warriors Opening game tickets price averages have climbed as well. In 2001 the average Warriors ticket price was just $40.00 per ticket, in 2010 it was $65.00 per ticket, 2013 -14 season saw secondary ticket prices at $80.00 ticket now in 2015 Warriors Ticket prices have risen 57.53% to an average of $115 per ticket placing the Warriors second only to the Cavaliers whose prices on the secondary market have dropped 20% in 2015 since the absence of Lebron James.

Golden State Warriors Top 5 Games Remaining at the Oracle Arena.

Mav’s @ Warriors, Oracle Arena
February 4, Starting price $56, Average price $75
The Number one offence in the league visits the Number one defence in the league. In their first dual this season, the Warriors held the Mavericks under 100 points, becoming one of the few teams to pull that off. But that was before Rondo joined the Mavs, and now they have a player that can defend Steph Curry. View Warriors vs Mavericks tickets for the Oracle Arena.

Spurs @ Warriors, Oracle Arena
February 20, Starting price $91, Average price $155
The Spurs are the champions, and the Warriors want to be “the sultan instead of the sultan”. They will have to prove themselves versus the best. Golden State has already lost this season to the Spurs at home, and if they want to boost their confidence, a win will go a long way. View Warriors vs Spurs tickets for the Oracle Arena.

Clippers @ Warriors, Oracle Arena
March 8, Starting price $99, Average price $117
Simply put, these two teams do not like each other. From their playoff matchups to their regular season matchups, every duel is a special story. Every time they play each other, the game is a must-see TV. Aside from the individual matchups like Curry versus CP3, the game features lots of other duels worth watching. Another reason for watching is that every game is a high scoring one with a highlight reel that can top the NBA’s top 10.View Warriors vs Clippers tickets for the Oracle Arena.

Hawks @ Warriors, Oracle Arena
March 18, Starting price $42, Average price $66
The Atlanta Hawks are the hottest team at the moment, and their offence is blitzing. Golden State is number one in defensive rating this season. Before Andrew Bogut’s injury, the team allowed less than 90 points per 100 possessions. With him sidelined, the Warriors allowed 97 points, but they are still number one in defensive rating. The Hawks are 7th in offensive rating, and Kyle Korver is probably the one player that requires more attention when he is near the 3pt line than Steph Curry. View Warriors vs Hawks tickets for the Oracle Arena.

Grizzlies @ Warriors, Oracle Arena
April 13, Starting price $41, Average price $120
The last before the last game of the season for Golden State, they will battle the Grizzlies for what might be then, a higher seed for the playoffs. The two teams have been in a dog race, back and forth for the top spot in the West since the season started. Given the fact that the race is extremely tight, the last game can have huge value. Especially since everyone expects OKC to get the 7th or 8th spot, and some higher seeds might look to avoid playing the Thunder in the first round. View Warriors vs Grizzlies tickets for the Oracle Arena.

Warriors on the road

Currently the Warriors are 13-4 on the road putting them just behind the Chicago Bulls who are 14-4 on the road.

Warriors @ Trail Blazers

Portland is currently 1.5 games behind the Warriors in the Western Conference with an impressive home record of 17-3 and 6-1 in Division Play where the Warriors are 5-3 in Division Play and 13-4 on the road. The Warriors won their first meeting at the Moda Center on Nov 2 and with only three meetings during the regular season the late meeting in March could have home court playoff potential for either one of these two teams. View Trail Blazers vs Warriors tickets for the Moda Center.

Warriors @ Grizzlies
March 27th FedEx Forum Memphis TN
The Southwest Memphis Grizzlies are currently four games behind the Warriors in the Western Conference standings with a 14-4 home record. Marc Gasol is quietly averaging 19.7 points per game with Zack Randolph pulling down 11.4 boards a game. The Warriors lost to the Grizzlies on Dec 16th in Memphis, and another loss in Memphis on March 27th could give the Grizzlies an opportunity for home court during the playoffs. Grizzlies vs Warriors tickets for the FedEx Forum are currently averaging $50.00 per ticket.

Warriors @ Hawks
Feb 6th Philips Arena
The Atlanta Hawks are currently first in the Eastern Conference with a 27-8 record and is on a six-game win-streaking and is 9-1 in their last ten games. With a home record of 15-3 in the Philips Arena, it will be a good test for the Warriors. On paper, the Warriors with Stephen Curry averaging 22.9 points a game followed by Klay Thompson at 21.6 should be able to handle Jeff Teague’s 17.7 points per game along with Paul Millsap’s 17 points a game. This could be a preview of the NBA finals the way both of these teams are playing. Atlanta Hawks vs Warriors tickets for the Philips Arena meeting are averaging $75.00 per ticket.

Dallas Mavericks March Schedule

Mavericks Ticket Price Down 21% In 2015

The Dallas Mavericks are official “All in” for this season. Trading for Rajon Rondo ensures that. The Mavericks decided to make one more move to try and get over the hump. Will they succeed? We will find out. However, it is worth noting that their defence has been improved with Rondo in the lineup. The nifty point guard is an upgrade over anyone the Mavs had before him the past two seasons. For Dallas, winning the division could go a long way in their hunt for a title. Winning the division ensures they have home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs at least. Sadly, for Dallas, the South West is one of the toughest in the NBA right now. Their most important games left in the season are mostly against division rivals.

The Bulls are one of the best defensive teams in the league. Therefore, it is strange that the first duel between the two teams ended 132-129 in favor of the Bulls. Rockets @ Mavericks, American Airlines Center, February 20th,

This is the first duel this season between the teams in Dallas and their third matchup of the season. Houston hosted the first one and won, and they will host the second in January. On The Road

Mavericks @ Warriors
Oracle Arena Feb 5th & March 6th 2015

If for any reason it will give the Mavericks a good taste of what might become in the Playoffs. Boston Celtics Ticket Prices

Celtics Tickets Prices Down 56% In 2015

It seems like just a season ago the Celtics were on top of the world and had an average ticket price of $150.00 a ticket. The average Celtics opening day ticket price for games at the TD Garden have fallen to an average price of $66.00 per ticket on the secondary market currently and giving the opportunity for the Boston Strong to get some great deals on Celtics Tickets even though they are rebuilding.

For the Celtics, this season is officially over. All that is left is to see how high they will rank in the draft order. Ideally, the Celtics would love to be lower, but it is hard to believe they can fall to the top 5, even with Rajon Rondo traded. The remaining games are all for improving the youngsters, especially Marcus Smart, and a chance to boost the value of some of the veterans so that they can trade them. However, there are games that matter and can be fun.

Celtics versus Mavericks, January 2, Starting price $84, Average price $153
All you need to know about the importance of this game is that the Celtics increased the price of the tickets. This will be the first return of Rajon Rondo, who was traded to the Mavericks just a few days before. Aside from Ray Allen, all members of the Championship team in 2008 got a warm welcome to the Garden, and Rondo should be no exception. View all Celtics vs Mavericks tickets for the TD Garden.

Celtics @ Knicks, February 3, Starting price $44, Average price $103
The green team makes their annual visit at the Madison Square Garden, an arena famous as much as the TD Garden in Boston. Both teams are in the bottom of the Atlantic Division, but that doesn’t mean their duel will be less interesting. The teams have been rivals for years, and having a weaker team won’t stop that rivalry.View all Knicks Opening Game tickets for the Celtics game at Madison Square Garden.

Celtics @ Lakers, February 22, Starting price $47, Average price $127
The duel between the two storied franchises will always attract attention, even when both are fighting for a higher draft pick. It will be a long time before any of the teams compete for a championship, but they will endure, as they have in the past. And the Lakers still have Kobe Bryant, one player that loves competing with Boston due to the history of the two teams. View all Lakers vs Celtics Tickets for the Staples Center.

Celtics @ Pacers, March 14, Starting price $6, Average price $63
Neither team will admit it openly, but both are hoping for a higher draft pick. Their duels might be a direct factor in the draft order, as they are very close in the East rankings. The Pacers, at least on paper, are trying to get to the playoffs, but that is a pipe dream. With Paul George sidelined by the end of the season, and considering their salary situation, getting a high draft pick is a valuable asset for the future. Celtics versus Raptors, April 14, Starting price $15, Average price $45
The Celtics close out the season in Milwaukee the following night, but they say goodbye to their fans at the Garden versus what is now the clear winner of the Atlantic Division, Toronto Raptors. Stephen Curry MVP

Stephen Curry Starts Out A Tough Week For The Lakers

After winning three straight, including a big win in San Antonio versus the defending NBA Champion Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers continued their maddening inconsistency, losing the final three games of the week, including a tough Sunday night loss at Sacramento versus the Kings. The loss to the Kings followed a tough one-point loss at home versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Week Recap: The Lakers kicked off the week with a disappointing home loss to the struggling Indiana Pacers, 110-91. The Lakers fell behind 34-15 in the first quarter and were never really in the game as the Pacers, who entered with a worse record than the Lakers, completely dominated the game. After winning three straight entering the game, the Lakers inconsistent play surfaced once again. The Lakers were dominated on the boards by Indiana, a statistic that led to a dominating interior advantage for the Pacers. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 26 points but made just 8 of 26 shots. At one point the Pacers held a 39 points first-half lead in one of the more embarrassing home performances for Los Angeles in recent years. After the tough loss to Indiana on Monday night the Lakers had three days to rest before hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night. The Thunder was without Kevin Durant, who missed the game. The Lakers lost 104-103 when Kobe Bryant missed the final shot, part of a 3 for 15 shooting night. Ed Davis had 18 points and 9 rebounds for the Lakers, with Ronnie Price chipping in 11 points. The Lakers had Saturday night off to regroup before they made the trip north to Sacramento on Sunday night. The Lakers dropped their third straight behind another tough game for Kobe Bryant. The Lakers veteran, who missed most of the last season due to injury, shot just 8 for 30 and turned the ball over nine times. Kobe Bryant’s poor performance has led to renewed calls for head coach Byron Scott to find more rest for Bryant, who has played major minutes this season at an advanced age and coming off of injury.

Lakers ticket prices the Week Ahead: The Lakers have an incredibly tough stretch coming this week with a visit by the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, followed by a trip to Chicago to face Pau Gasol and the Bulls on Christmas Day. Cavaliers February Schedule

Bulls & Thunder Top Tickets On Cavaliers January Schedule

The Cavs are slowly starting to look like the championship contender many envisioned them to be when they signed LeBron James and traded for Kevin Love. There are still bumps on the road, and the roles are not clearly defined, but the team is playing better and better. It took the Heat one year to find out how they should play, and an injury to Chris Bosh to finally grasp and embrace the idea of position-less basketball and place the ball in James’ hands. The Cavs took less time, as Irving is slowly learning to play off the ball, and let LeBron create more for others. The biggest problem is their defence, but they are getting there. LeBron claimed they should win all 82 rebound battles during the season, but that hasn’t happened, even though the team has excellent rebounders in Anderson Varejao and Kevin Love. This is their home schedule for the Quicken Loans Arena January.

Cavs vs Mavs, January 4, Average price $72

One team that can fully explore Cavs weakness on the defensive end is the Mavericks. They have the best offence in the NBA by far, and with so many weapons, teams have a hard time holding the Mavs below 100 points per possession. Tyson Chandler owns the glass, and if the Cavs are not careful, he will punish them. Cavaliers vs Mavericks Tickets starting price is $66.00

Cavs vs Rockets, January 7, Average price $86

Another duel where the Cavs are poised to lose the rebound battle. Just a few days after hosting the Mavs and Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard and the Rockets are in town. And the Rockets are another team with many weapons, particularly on the perimeter, where they can shoot lights out. James might have to guard Harden, the leading scorer at the moment. Love is one player that can hurt the Rockets, as they do not have someone who can step out and is mobile enough to guard Love.

Cavs vs Bulls, January 19, Average price $189

The duel of two former MVP players is sure to produce some entertainment, and probably some bad blood. James is not liked in Chicago, and neither does he love the Bulls. Joakim Noah has tossed some words towards LeBron multiple times. While he was with the Heat, James was an obstacle the Bulls could not pass. Now with the Cavs, he might be even more dangerous. And we cannot forget Kyrie Irving and his duel with Derrick Rose.
Cavs vs Jazz, January 21, Starting price $34, Average price $78

You better bet LeBron hasn’t forgotten the first duel between the teams and Gordon Hayward’s game-winning shot over James. The Jazz better is prepared for James’s revenge, as he is known to remember things. Even though he doesn’t show it, LeBron is a player with a long memory. And he knows how hard his duels with the Jazz are, and how much he hates losing in Utah. Now at home, he will probably show them good he is.

Cavs vs Hornets, January 23, Average price $189

The Hornets are looking to trade Lance Stephenson; the player LeBron loves to play against. The Cavs won the first duel of the season. The Hornets are still in a mess, but they do have one player that can punish Cleveland, and his name is Big Al Jefferson. No player on Cavs roster can guard Jefferson inside, and he was a problem for James as well. The point guard matchup between Kemba Walker and Kyrie Irving is another one to watch for.

Cavs vs Thunder, January 25, Average price $147

Is there a better matchup and a duel in the league than this one? The Thunder won the first game of the season, but that was with James in street clothes. Just think about, Ibaka vs Love, Irving vs Westbrook, and of course, James vs Durant. Three premium matchups at three different positions make this game a must watch.
Cavs vs Blazers, January 28, Average price $90

In the first week of the season, the Blazers dominated the Cavs in their first matchup. But Cleveland is a much better team now, with chemistry improved and their team play improved as well. The teams have top 5 players on two crucial positions, point guard and power forward. However, how Batum defends LeBron might decide the duel. And we cannot forget Wesley Matthews, a player who thinks is the best at his position and can go hot on a given night.

Cavs vs Kings, January 30, Average price $193

The Kings might be a different team by the time this two meet. Fresh out of firing Mike Malone, the Kings are looking to play at a faster pace. Their biggest problem is Demarcus Cousins and his health, as the big man has missed a few games due to illness. When he is in the lineup, he is probably the most dominant post big man in the league, which could spell trouble for the Cavs. Cavaliers vs Kings Tickets starting price is $77.00

JJ Redick Factor In Clippers Postseason

Clippers JJ Redick

REDICK

Can J.J. Redick be a factor for the Los Angeles Clippers during the postseason?
The Los Angeles Clippers will need all their weapons lined up come playoff time. Of course, Lob City appears to be very powerful this season and most ready than ever to contend for the Larry O’Brien trophy. Although there are some true powerhouses in the West, which the Clips will have to try hard to top, I strongly believe that if Head Coach Doc Rivers has all pieces available, this will be the Clips’ year.

Talking about pieces of the puzzle and their availability, one of the Clippers’ newcomers this season, shooting guard J.J. Redick just returned to action, after missing a big chunk of the season due to an abdominal injury. Redick returned to action on Thursday, April 4, in a game against the Dallas Mavericks, after missing 36 games this season. Of course, Redick was rusty during his first couple of games, following his comeback. Especially in Thursday’s game against the Mavs, when he played for 24 games, he finished with 12 points, going three for 10 from the floor and two for six from beyond the arc. This was an uncharacteristic output for the 29 – year old guard.

However, Redick made sure he bounced back in the Clippers’ next game. Playing again for 24 minutes during the Clips’ battle against the (former) city-rivals, Los Angeles Lakers, he shot 63.3 percent from the field and a little over than 33 percent from three-point range. Redick finished with 15 points and three rebounds but this wasn’t the most aspect of his game. What was most significant is that he showed positive signs, sings that Doc Rivers but also the entire Clipper Nation was able to see.

JJ Redick

REDICK

There are five more games left till the end of the regular season, in which J.J. Redick will have to find his rhythm and pace. If he manages to return to a level close to the one he was prior to his injury, he will certainly be a big factor for the Clippers during the playoffs. After all, the sharpshooter is fourth leading scorer for LA this season, putting up 15.5 points per contest. He is also one of the best shooters the team has, from mid and long range.

But if you look closer at the way the team is playing, you’ll realize that Redick’s contribution goes above and beyond just shooting. In fact, thanks to his lethal shooting ability, defense always has to pay close attention to him. That gives more space to CP3 and Blake Griffin to operate and work their magic. And that makes the team much more dangerous.

Hopefully, Redick will retain a high level of performance during the postseason and hopefully Doc Rivers will have all his players available, right from Game 1 of the first round. After all, the competition level is extremely high in the West this season and not even the first-round matchup won’t be easy. Chris M.
