May 8-11 San Francisco Giants: The Dodgers kicked off the month of April, and their 2014 home opener, by hosting the San Francisco Giants. They’ll host the Giants again in a big four game series to start the month of May. After a disappointing 2013 the Giants have the look of contenders again and after losing two out of three in each of the first two series between the two teams this season, the Dodgers will be looking for a convincing series victory in the four game series. The series will be the first Dodgers home series in nearly two weeks, on the heels of a nine game road trip that brought the Dodgers to Minnesota, Miami, and Washington. Dodgers fans attending the series should get the opportunity to see reigning Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw, currently rehabbing a pulled muscle in his back. Fans attending the Thursday night game will receive an inflatable Dodgers chair. Those attending Friday night will get the opportunity to enjoy the postgame Friday night fireworks. Saturday features a Dodgers pennant giveaway as well as the annual Old Timer’s game as fans will get a chance to see past Dodger greats return to the field. The finale of the four-game series on Sunday includes the giveaway of a Mother’s Day Clutch. Dodgers Vs Giants Tickets are on Sale Now. Dodgers Vs Giants Tickets start at only $9.00 per ticket.
May 12-14 Miami Marlins: Following the key four-game Giants series the Dodgers will welcome in the Miami Marlins for a three game set starting on Monday, May 12th. After a difficult 2013 season in which they had the worst record in the National League the Marlins are fielding a competitive team thus far in 2014. Miami is led by two of the most talented young players in the game in slugging outfielder Giancarlo Stanton and pitcher Jose Fernandez. Stanton, a Southern California native, is off to a big start at the plate and leads the National League in runs batted in. Fernandez won the Rookie of the Year in 2013 and is a leading 2014 Cy Young candidate. Those attending Tuesday night’s game will receive a Yasiel Puig bobblehead, one of the most anticipated promotions of the 2014 season. Dodgers Vs Marlins Tickets start at only $5.00 per ticket.
