Cody Bellinger was born on July 13, 1995, in Scottsdale Arizona.

In 2007, Cody played in the Little League World Series for the Chandler Arizona baseball team.

Although Bellinger now plays first base and outfield, in high school, he pitched a four-hit complete game shutout with ten strikeouts.

The Dodgers drafted Cody in the fourth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.

His dad Clay Bellinger played for the New York Yankees and Anaheim Angels and has three World Series Rings.

Bellinger is the fastest player to ever hit twenty-one home runs to start an MLB career.

Cody is the only fourth player behind Eddie Mathews (27 in 1953), Albert Pujols (21 in 2001), and Miguel Cabrera (20 in 2004) age twenty-one to hit twenty home runs before the MLB All-Star break.
