  1. This is a joke. I work in finance NYC and sit courtside more than I should tbh. Courtside is reserved for corporations, law firms, entertainment professionals, and companies that pay for season tickets much in advance. They do so for their clients, employees, and generally to build or retain businesss. That said, using the very skewed data from the in-between A-list celebs who choose to randomly throw their money away is not accurate. Also, to that point, let’s not forget even They don’t pay for the seats. They were prepaid for by “who knows firm/personal contact” way in advance at a faction of the face value/gameday cost, for the sole purpose of trying to attract business from those who sit in them. Sure you get the random rich who choose to purchase these tickets for pleasure. But let’s not get this twisted. The majority is reserved by and for business. Trust me, I’ve only sat courtside a dozen times this year…and much of it wasn’t with friends…

  2. This is straight murder why they allow such a high markup on these tickets. If you can get yourself these season tickets for one year in life your set for life pretty crazy the money people will pay to watch a game of basketball. I think it’s more to say look that’s me I’m a baller but now I’m some what broke 25,000 for one ticket that’s horrible nice article thanks.

  3. Wow, the Heat fans who pay $25k for a ticket will end up leaving at half time when they are down by 20 and come crying back to get in when the game is close.
