So far this offseason they drafted Frank Kaminsky with the 9th overall pick where he has looked pretty good in the summer league. The Hornets also signed Jeremy Lin from the Los Angeles Lakers. They also acquired Nicolas Batum from the Portland Trail Blazers so far in exchange for Gerald Henderson and Noah Vonleh, also acquired Jeremy Lamb from the Oklahoma City Thunder, and they also acquired Spencer Hawes from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Lance Stephenson. The Charlotte Hornets are just working there way to get back into the playoffs this upcoming season.
