He falls in love with her and although she is fascinated with the phantom, she falls in love with her childhood sweetheart, Raoul. Insanely jealous, the phantom kidnaps Christine, and threatens to kill Raoul.

To save Raoul, Christine agrees to marry the phantom. He then realizes what he's done and then makes Christine back to Raoul and disappears forever. The success of the 'Phantom of the Opera' is unparallel and any lover of the theater must see it at least once.
