She grows up and discovers that she is hearing a voice which tells her and teaches her to sing. She believes he is the angel of music that her father has sent but in fact he is a disfigured genius, the phantom. He falls in love with her and although she is fascinated with the phantom, she falls in love with her childhood sweetheart, Raoul. Insanely jealous, the phantom kidnaps Christine, and threatens to kill Raoul.

To save Raoul, Christine agrees to marry the phantom. He then realizes what he's done and then makes Christine back to Raoul and disappears forever. The success of the 'Phantom of the Opera' is unparallel and any lover of the theater must see it at least once.
