ABOUT FAR FROM HEAVEN NEW YORK TICKETS:
Far From Heaven is the latest and newest Broadway adaptation of the hit 2002 film with the same title. Far From Heaven is set in 1957 suburban Connecticut . Cathy is a housewife and her husband Frank is a successful executive for a television advertising company. The story of their marriage unfolds and like so many stories, things are not always what they seem. In 1957 Connecticut racial lines were still not to be meshed but Cathy forges a friendship with her black gardener's son anyway. The Far From Heaven star decides one night to bring Frank dinner at the office when he is working late only to discover him locked in a passionate kiss with a man. Although Frank promises to enter therapy, converting back to heterosexuality is not feasible and Frank turns to a heavy reliance on alcohol, making it understandable that the story is called Far from Heaven. While at a party as her life crumbles around her, Cathy and Raymond run into one another and their bond grows even deeper. However, the forbidden friendship results in three white men attacking Raymond's daughter and subsequently escaping prosecution. What happens next remains to be seen. This story relates to audiences nationwide and sticks to the classic moral that as always the heart tends to rule in the end, whether the story turns out to be a fairy tale or not or whether or not the end result is Far From Heaven.
