    Dodgers 2, San Francisco 3

The team of LA Dodgers had a quite bad night as the San Francisco defeated them on a Saturday night game at the AT&T Park.

Aaron Rowand will cherish his game-ending hit against the rival Dodgers. Rowand hit an RBI single through a drawn-in infield, and the team of San Francisco scored twice in the bottom of the 10th inning to defeat the LA Dodgers team with 3-2 in front of surprise guest Barry Bonds.

"I'm sure most every player remembers every single one of their walkoff hits. It was special, obviously, being here and playing them," Rowand said.
Rowand's game-winning hit capped an emotional day for San Francisco, which welcomed Bonds back to AT&T Park for the first time this season. The San Francisco rallied against Dodgers, after Jeff Kent homered leading off the 10th to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead, reliever Jonathan Broxton (2-3). Dave Roberts hit a leadoff double then took third on Randy Winn's bloop single to left. Emmanuel Burris followed with a high chopper that Broxton fielded near the mound and tried to throw home, but the ball skipped past catcher Russell Martin allowing Roberts to score the tying run while Winn raced to third. Broxton hit Ivan Ochoa to load the bases then struck out Bengie Molina before Rowand lined a single past a diving Kent at second base to end it.
"We're not a power-hitting club and we've got to execute," San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy said. "We've got to do little things but still you need the hits to win ballgames. That's the brand of ball we've got to play,” he added.

San Francisco's comeback got reliever Tyler Walker off the hook. Walker allowed the home run to Jeff Kent, but his teammates bailed him out. Kent's home run was the 376th of his career, tying him with Carlton Fisk for 62nd on the career list. Meanwhile, Barry Bonds, who tops that list, made an appearance during a pregame ceremony celebrating the Giants' 50th anniversary in San Francisco. After Willie Mays spoke to the crowd, Bonds walked to a podium behind the pitcher's mound as the crowd chanted his name again while several members of the Los Angeles Dodgers stood along the rail in front of their dugout applauding. Bonds then spoke briefly, telling the crowd

    "I'm not retired,"
then later took in two innings of the game from a front-row seat next to Giants owner Peter Magowan. LA Dodgers remains a half-game behind the Diamondbacks.
"You have to (bounce back)," Dodgers manager Joe Torre said.
Los Angeles starter Hiroki Kuroda pitched eight strong innings but left with a no decision. He gave up San Francisco's first run in the sixth, scattering eight hits with four strikeouts while getting a big assist from center fielder Matt Kemp. Dave Roberts later scored on a sacrifice fly by Fred Lewis. Hiroki Kuroda had an RBI-single in the second to drive in Manny Ramirez with Los Angeles' first run.

On the other hand, San Francisco starter Kevin Correia gave up one run and six hits in five innings.

A crowd of 41, 963 attended the game and as some of them are disappointed with the performance of the LA Dodgers, the game served as a challenge for the team to move on and continue fighting and trying to win their games.
