The team is currently homed in Minute Maid Park, one of the largest baseball stadiums in the United States. The Minute Maid Park is nicknamed as The Juice Box. It is exactly located at 501 Crawford Street, Houston, Texas 77002. The Minute Maid Park was formerly known as the Enron Field. Its naming rights were owned by the Houston energy corporation in a 30 year, 100 million dollar deal. However, when the energy corporation experienced bankruptcy, they bought back the remainder of Enron's thirty years of naming rights for $2.1 million. Soon after, the baseball stadium changed its name to Astros Field on February 7, 2002. On June 5, 2002, a large company which product line includes beverages, orange juice, and soft drinks acquired the naming rights to the stadium for 28 years at a price exceeding $100 million. Soon, the stadium became known as Minute Maid Park. The large sports facility today is owned by Harris County-Houston Sports Authority. It was architected by HOK Sport, international architecture company whose works include the Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, New Yankee Stadium, Honda Center, Cleveland Browns Stadium, and many more. The construction of the stadium was said to have cost a stunning 250 million dollars. Minute Maid Park can hold spectators and visitors with the capacity of 40,950.The Minute Maid Park is one of the outstanding and most entertaining stadiums in the United States today.
