Hackett traded in to become a part of the Carolina Panther, Chuck Darby to the Detroit Lions, and Tome Ashworth and Shaun Alexander released with no further involvement in a separate team.

The Seattle Seahawks were 10-6 at the end of their 2007 season, and they are ready to redeem themselves with a much better outcome throughout their 2008 season. It all starts on September 7 th when the Seahawks face off against the Buffalo Bills in their first 2008 NFC West game of the season.
