The Baltimore Ravens are an NFL team founded in 1996 as part of one of the NFL’s more recent expansions. Already this young team has won a Super Bowl Championship. In 2000 the Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Giants in a crushing 34 to 7 victory over this 80+ year old NFL team. They have been the Division Champions twice and the Conference Champions once and in total the Baltimore Ravens have made it to the playoffs five times.

The Baltimore Ravens play all their home games at M & T Bank Stadium. Prior to that the Ravens held their home games at Memorial Stadium for just one year; the Baltimore Ravens 1997-1998 NFL season. The M & T Bank Stadium, which has undergone several name changes, hosts a seating capacity of 71,008 Baltimore Ravens fans. It broke ground in 1996 and upon completion cost a total of $220 million to construct.

The Baltimore Ravens are coached by John Harbaugh, who prior to coming on in 2008 also coached the Philadelphia Eagles, along with several college football teams. Owner Steve Bisciotti is the third youngest owner in the NFL and is credited in building the incredible Baltimore Ravens training and practice facility, which opened up in 2004.
