Raiders vs. Dolphins... Who will win?
1/30/08
Over the past years in NFL history, it has been a pastime for fans to match their favorite outstanding teams. In fact, some conducts contests through polls to determine who will be the great team match-up.
The 1976 Oakland Raiders were matched-up against the 1972 Dolphins who is so far the only undefeated team. As the voting ended, Don Seeholzer examined the contest and gave the victory to the Dolphins. “The Dolphins had a lot of close calls during their perfect season and always found a way to win. This would be another squeaker. With Ken Stabler at quarterback and Clarence Davis running behind the Hall of Fame left side of Gene Upshaw and Art Shell, the Raiders would give Miami's No-Name defense all it could handle. Larry Csonka probably wouldn't find a lot of running room against the Oakland D, either, but there's a reason why he and the Dolphins went undefeated. Chalk up one more for Don Shula's gang. “
Let’s just find out who will succeed in the next season of National Football League.
