Coming from USC is guard Chilo Rachael, center Cody Wallace from Texas A&M, wide receiver Josh Morgan from Virginia Tech and linebacker Larry Grant from Ohio State all make up the newly found and claimed additions for the 49ers 2008 upcoming season.
Along other lines were the former 49ers who were dropped this offseason. Trent Dilfer retired, Marques Douglas traded in for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kwame Harris went to the Oakland Raiders, Maurice Hicks to the Minnesota Vikings, Darrell Jackson over to the Denver Broncos, and a few others were traded in.
