The Los Angeles Nokia Theatre lights up the streets of the busiest entertainment hub in Los Angeles . Sitting pretty directly across the Los Angeles STAPLES Center and the Los Angeles Convention Center , this incredible new downtown feature was a long time coming. With a combination of financing from Anschutz Entertainment Group , Wachovia Corp. MacFarlane Partners and Los Angeles taxpayers, initial costs were projected at 2.5 billion dollars.
So, the final product? The extraordinary Los Angeles Nokia Theatre spread consumes 27 acres of land, totaling 5.6 million square feet of an indoor and outdoor sports, entertainment, and even residential borough.
Every single one of its 7,100 seats is within 210 feet of the main stage. Complementing the luxurious seating are its 5,000 square feet of LED screens that illuminate the venue, both indoors and out. 40,00 of its square footage is designated for the Nokia Theater Plaza , 14,000 for the performance area, and 12,000 specifically for V.I.P.
The new Theatre looks like something straight out of a futuresque movie; spotless and glimmering, as if an air-brushed version of itself. Nokia Theater Los Angeles Parking
Approximately 3,500 new parking spaces have been added to downtown parking due to the arrival of the Los Angeles Nokia Theatre. Parking is available at various independent lots, and prices may vary.
