Griesar left the Dave Matthews Band in 1993 and in 2008, after seventeen years of playing together, LeRoi Moore died from an ATV accident. The Dave Matthews Band brought in Grammy Award winning sax player, Jeff Coffin, who plays for the Dave Matthews Band as well as Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. The Dave Matthews Band has released eight studio albums and has earned a Grammy Award, out of fourteen nominations, as well as an NAACP Image Award.
