Almost Acoustic Christmas is an annual tour by the Los Angeles, California radio station KROQ which began in 1990. The concert always airs in mid-December as the 2nd or 3rd weekend on a Saturday & Sunday since it was aired. One of the most anticipated concert events of the year proved to be worthy of all the hype...& then some. KROQ's annual event for charity always provides an outstanding lineup of alternative artists, but this year's show proved to be a true, if somewhat uneven at times, gem. The festival is known as an annual proving ground of sorts for the biggest bands in rock. Last year's lineup included Velvet Revolver, Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, Social Distortion, Sum 41, the Killers, Modest Mouse, the Shins, Incubus, Interpol, Good Charlotte, & Hoobastank.
