Ginuwine born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin on October 15, 1970 in Washington, DC is an African American R&B singer. Signed to Sony Records seeing as the mid-1990s, Ginuwine has unconfined a number of platinum-selling albums and singles, fetching one of the most successful R&B artists of his period.

After his 1999 sophomore album, 100% Ginuwine, Ginuwine and Timbaland grew apart, and producers such as R. Kelly have crafted hits for him since then. In 2002, Ginuwine was a facet artist on P. Diddy's number one hit, "I Need a Girl (Part II)". Later that year Ginuwine kicked in gear to start his own label Bag Entertainment. The label would trait Artist like Jose Cenquentez (who appeared on "The Senior") and Wife Solè.. Lumpkin is also known for discovering sonar-octave vocalist Tireh.
Ginuwine's latest album, Back II Da Basics, was released on November 15, 2005 by Sony Records. The first single from this album was "When We Make Love." The album debuted at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, advertising close to 80,000 copies. "I'm In Love" will be the second single, which is said to be similar to his number one ballad "Differences" in a way.
