David Gilmour Facts and Information:
David Gilmour is often referred to as the "voice and guitar of Pink Floyd". This incredible talent was born March 6, 1946 in Cambridge , England . He grew up to parents who were both teachers in some regard and throughout school utilized his lunch breaks to learn the guitar.
Gilmour's first group was the Joker's Wild and from 1963 until 1967 the band stumbled across Europe living hand to mouth unsuccessfully. Finally, after a hospital stint due to malnutrition, David Gilmour left Joker's Wild for good. It was then, in December of 1967, that Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason propositioned Gilmour to join the band. For a short-lived while Pink Floyd had five members until they eventually wove out Syd Barrett, their lead singer, all together.
From 1967 until 1994 David Gilmour was a part of Pink Floyd, officially leading the band from 1987 until its retirement in 1994. With Pink Floyd Gilmour contributed to the release of fifteen albums. General Parking: $10.
Preferred Parking: $20
Valet Parking: Valet is one hour free with a same day purchase of $10.00 from a City Walk retail store. Valet is $10.00 the first half hour without validation, ad $2.50 each additional half-hour, with a daily max of $25.00. With validation the first 1 ½ -2 hours is $5.00, and $2.50 each additional hour with a $25.00 max. Please be aware that the maximum rates automatically apply after 4 hours with validation, and after just two hours without.
