If you are looking for opulence and luxury, no other place can compete with the Cerritos Center Los Angeles. Sprawled over more than 154,000 square feet, the los Angeles Cerritos Center for Performing Arts occupies an enviable position among the most sophisticated theatres in the United States .
Complete with features like moveable seats, floors and ceilings, the Los Angeles Cerritos Center can accommodate distinct seating combinations to make the perfect setting for any occasion, be it opera, jazz, dance, music, magic show, drama, musicals or even private functions. The season in this theater runs from August to May.
The Cerritos Centre Los Angeles is a unique entertainment and music spot with glass walls, pink limestone, and colorful ceramic tiles, a glass elevator tower along with pyramids and spires and pennants making the façade of the theater. The interiors consist of a curved staircase with etched glass designs, an elegant fireplace, high ceilings and beautiful artwork. The cost of this remarkable construction came to a whopping $60 million.
The Los Angeles Cerritos Centre is owned as well as operated by the city of Cerritos and has been open to the public for various events since 1993. None other than Frank Sinatra was the star who performed on the opening night of this theater, and two more nights after that, helping establish Cerritos Centre as a leading entertainment centre.
