As part of the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, the Terrace Theater, built in the mid-1960s, helps promote a quality entertainment for the community of Long Beach as well as for visitors of the area. The Terrace Theater is attached to the 825-seat Center Theater. In 1978, the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center was opened. The expansion of the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center was constructed beginning the year 1992 and was completed in 1994, tripling the size of the exhibit space to 334,000 square feet. And from then on, it has been one of the favorite sites in Long Beach. Furthermore, the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center is an entertainment complex that also has Long Beach Arena, Center Theater, Exhibition Halls and Meeting Rooms.

In order to get to the Terrace Theater, if you’re from the Los Angeles International Airport; you may take the San Diego Freeway (405) south to the Long Beach Freeway (710), go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive), then follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage. If you’ll be coming from the Long Beach Airport, all you have to do is to take Lakewood Boulevard south to the San Diego Freeway (405), take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710), then go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. Follow the Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as given by the directional signage. From the John Wayne (Orange County) Airport however, take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710), then go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.
Going to the Terrace Theater from the Southern Orange County, you’ll have to take the Santa Ana Freeway (5), north to the San Diego Freeway (405), and then take the San Diego Freeway north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow the Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as provided by the directional signage. Moreover, from the North Orange County and the Valleys or from San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys, take the Orange Freeway (57) or San Gabriel Freeway (605) to the Riverside Freeway (91) to the Long Beach Freeway (710).
