Kanye West may have been notorious for not only his amazing music, but for his blatant egotistical comments, but let's face it, Kanye West rocks, why shouldn't he talk about it and rock it as well? If only we all had as much confidence as Kanye West, but this 28-year-old rapper is definitely the King Kong of the hip hop industry and everyone is making all the stops so they can see Kanye West live in tour! It will definitely go down in history, as all of West's performances seem to do. The man gives the people what they want, no question about it.
If you are bored lately with the concerts you have seen and the lack of performer enthusiasm, seeing Kanye West in concert will redeem any of those feelings ten folds! In all of his past performances, from appearing through smoke on a hockey arena, to never falling into the stereotypical hip hop concert where there is so much background happening you can't even tell if the performer is still on stage, Kanye West doesn't even stumble into that territory for a second. His performances are flawless with just enough of this and just enough of that to get the girls, and oh do the girls love Kanye, screaming hysterically but never going too far with it. Kanye West has performing down to a science, and with those notorious glasses and sweater vest, he can be that mad scientist and I don't think anyone will be complaining!

Kanye West, a 28 year old who is arguably the most important creative force in hip-hop today, recently named to Time Magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world, No matter who you are or where you lived in 2004 - if you owned a radio, television, computer or CD player, you felt Kanye West’s presence. Since the release of his 3 million selling, album debut “The College Dropout”, the Chicago born producer/rapper icon has been at the top of the charts & at the top of his game. At the 47th Grammy’s he topped all nominees with a historic 10 nods & took awards for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song & Best R&B song.
Since Kanye stepped out from behind the production booth that gave birth to chart topping hits like “Izzo (H.O.V.A.), “Get By”, “Stand Up” & “You Don’t Know My Name” for artists such as Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Talib Kweli, & Ludacris to focus on his own talents as a songwriter, West has proven himself to be the most vital artist in hip-hop today.
After co-producing tracks for the Mad Rapper & Harlem World at the age of 20, Kanye caught a break when the heads of A&R at Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records (Kyambo “Hip-Hop” Joshua & G. Roberson) were blown away by his soulful approach to hip-hop production. Even back then, West’s unique talent made him stand out above the crowd. His use of R&B samples & live instrumentation gave West’s work a warmth & honesty that wasn’t to be found anywhere else at the time. While Kanye’s early work suggested greatness, it was on Jay-Z’s now classic “The Blueprint” that West 1rst achieved recognition in a major way. Drawing from the Jackson 5 (“Izzzo (H.O.V.A)), the Doors (“Takeover”) & the Temptations’ David Ruffin (“Never Change”), West created the soulful yet gritty sound behind Jay’s best tracks that his imitators are still trying to copy today. But like any true original, Kanye West is in a league of his own creating the future of hip-hop as he dug back in time with his unique samples to connect the past with the present in a brand new way. Before long, West was being hailed as the future of hip-hop.
