Tom Petty Announces New Album and Los Angeles Concert Date
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers will be coming to the Forum Oct 10th for their new "Hypnotic Eye" concert tour. The "Hypnotic Eye" is said to a return to the straight ahead 1960's rock and roll of his first two albums. Last year Tom Petty played multiple dates The Forum.

The tour itself will start off on Aug 3rd in San Diego at Viejas Arena and will continue until Oct 10th where it stops at The Forum in Los Angeles.

And since then there has been a production of twelve different albums, the last one being in 2011. Now, for the year 2014, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers announce their newest addition to their discography.

With the announcement of their new album, Hypnotic Eye, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers thirteenth studio album since their last album released back in 2011. The new album is expected to be released during the summer of this year, it's supposed to be filled with returning sounds of the band's 1970s sound.

As any dedicated Tom Petty fans will know, Tom Petty himself has also released his own solo albums. The three albums (Full Moon Fever, Wildflowers, and Highway Companion) spread out over most of the duration of the Heartbreakers' musical career: Full Moon Fever being released in 1989, Wildflowers being released in 1994, and Highway Companion being released in 2006.

Still capable of sold-out shows, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is still to this day notable throughout different generations, continuing to inspire people of all ages with their musical talent. And with the release of their new album, they're proving that they'll be introducing themselves to a completely new generation, as well.

Their 2014 tour will start from San Diego, California in August, to Boston, Massachusetts near September, and finally ending in Los Angeles, California early October.
