Thee Emergency was christened when they played in February 2005 at Ballard’s Bop Street Records. Thee Emergency started rockin’ out the Seattle scene in 2005 and dominated it since. Thee Emergency has been compared to other musicians such as the BellRays, DT’s and Detroit Cobras, but Thee Emergency clearly outstrips these other bands. Thee Emergency is influenced by musicians such as MC5, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Dirtbombs, The Datsuns, The Stooges, The Mooney Suzuki, IceAge Cobra, The Von Curses, The Modey Lemon, The Riverboat Gamblers, The Hunches, The Gories, The Hellacopters, The Sons of Cyrus, Digger and the Pussycats, The Go, The Mistreaters, and The Stooges. These influences lead to the captivating musical style of Thee Emergency today. Thee Emergency performed in 70 shows in 2005 alone, a feat that Thee Emergency can boast about.
