The Knife is a Grammis award (Swedish version of the Grammy Awards) best pop group in the year 2003. The Knife is consisting of brother and sister duo Karin and Olof Dreijer. The Knife was formed in the year 1999 by this talented electronic indie duo from Sweden. Not only that The Knife is a music artist, they are also the owner of a record company named Rabid Records.  The Knife does not make public appearances; most of their promotional photos feature the members wearing masks. This distinguished characteristic of The Knife made them famous in the music scene and in all places of Sweden.

Their songs were described by avid listeners and fans as extraordinary, marvelous and brilliant. In year 2003 during an award ceremony in the grammis where they won in the category of best pop group, the Knife sends two representatives wearing gorillas with number 50 costumes.
