Paul Wall was born Paul Slayton on March 11, 1981 in Houston, Texas and was raised there for quite a bit. He recently married his wife on October 22, 2005, Crystal. They had their first child on April 18 th , 2006 and named him William Patrick Slayton in remembrance of a friend and fellow rapper, Patrick Hawkins, also known as Fat Pat, who had passed away and was a good friend of Paul Wall.
