When he was born on April 5, 1972 in San Antonia, Texas as Patrick Craven Green, he was soon enough raised in Waco, Texas and falling in love with country music at a young age. He father, Cragen Earl Green was a former Air Force officer as well as a stage actor which was a large influence for Pat Green and his growing avid love of music and all that came with it.
After he graduated from the Vanguard College Preparatory School In Waco, Texas, Pat Green headed on over to Texas Tech where he studies and started working on his own music career. He started small, playing local gigs here and there at independence shops and bars around the town of Lubbock. 1995 was when Pat Green borrowed some money from his parents and recorded his first series of albums independently produced by Lloyd Maines. It was not for a couple of years that Pat Green fully put all of himself into his music career, and it was not too long after that people started to take note of the budding country music star.
No sooner did a well-known country music legend by the name of Willie Nelson catch a hear of Pat Green that he invited Green to go on tour with him. It was the opportunity of a lifetime that millions only dream of. When he appeared in the 1998 Willie Nelson 4 th of July Picnic, it was when he gained world wide notice, and people were definitely taking a kind eye and ears to Pat Green and all of his raw talent.
2001 was when Pat Green released his first big label albums release, Three Days . Each time he releases one after the other, fans go crazy and never does he disappoint the adoring and loyal fan base he has developed over time. Since the beginning, Pat Green has released nine studio albums: Dancehall Dreamer in 1995, George's Bar in 1997, Carry On in 2000, Song's We Wish We'd Written in 2001, Three Days in 2001 as well, Wave on Wave in 2003, Lucky Ones in 2004, Cannonball in 2006 and What I'm For is his highly anticipated upcoming 2009 studio release aimed for January 27 th of next year.
