As hard as it is to believe, Kiss is even older than Motley Crue. Founded in 1973, they have eight more years on Motley Crue. As famous as Motley Crue is for their tattoos, Kiss is famous for their face paint, leather stage outfits, black wigs, and performances that included fire breathing, blood spitting, guitar smashing, levitating drum kits, and pyrotechnics. Kiss has earned twenty-eight gold albums; the most amount of any American rock band to date.
