Robert Plant Featured on UK TV
Robert Plant, a well-known member of the legendary band Led Zeppelin, has successfully proven his unique talent as a singer and songwriter. His style, which is often mystical lyrics and wide vocal range was admired by fans especially rock fanatics.
He is indeed an exemplary rock front man who combines rare musical expertise and knowledge with a large measure of stage bravado.
Led Zeppelin disbanded in 1980,, after the death of John Bonham who was the drummer of Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant decided to pursue a solo career starting with Pictures at Eleven in 1982. In 2007, Plant recorded a collaborative album with Alison Krauss, entitled Raising Sand.
It was a successful album of Plant and Krauss which in fact, led Plant to be a guest on ITV’s “This Morning” program on the 11th of January, 2008. In the TV program, he discussed his collaboration with Alison Krauss as well as the Led Zeppelin’s reunion tour at London’s O2 Arena held on December.
Robert Plant was indeed successful as a solo artist ad his music with Krauss was well-accepted by fans. The tour in London also proved that Led Zeppelin still remains in the hearts of their fans and supporters who waited for so long to see them reunite.
