Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals
Robert Plant is a well-known English rock singer and songwriter of the legendary Led Zeppelin. Recently, Robert Plant has been busy recording music with bluegrass star Alison Krauss.
Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant released the album entitled Raising Sand with Alison Krauss on October 23, 2007 on Rounder Records. The album peaked at no.2 on the Top Country Albums Chart and was certified Platinum by US RIAA.
The combined music of Plant and Krauss led to a non-televised Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals, defeating Beyonce and Shakira, Gwen Stefani and Akon, Tony Bennett and Christina Aguilera, as well as Timbaland Featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake.
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss were grateful of the award especially to their fans who continue to support them.
