Lez Zeppelin not Led Zeppelin

The press release for 2008 Bonnaroo Festival was distributed via e-mail to various members of the media. The announcement claimed that New York's all-femme Zep tribute band, Lez Zeppelin, had also been confirmed for the bill.

However, several rumors had spread that Led Zeppelin would be anchoring the festival’s bill, performing the first Stateside concert in well over two decades. Because of this, several prominent publications mistakenly reported Wednesday morning that it would be Led Zeppelin, not Lez Zeppelin in the Bonnaroo’s line-up.

Lez Zep does not mind all the free publicity according to guitarist Steph Paynes. In addition to this, she also stated that while they're not the real thing, the girls plan to bring it to the people at Bonnaroo.

The Led Zeppelin fans will continue to wait for the announcements of the possible world tour of Led Zeppelin. For the meantime, Led Zeppelin is still silent about the matter.
