02/03/08
Though the media as well as the fans of Led Zeppelin eagerly wait for the updates of the plans for World tour of the band, members of Led Zeppelin remain silent on the issue. As Jimmy Page assured the media that they are determined to do the concert, his bandmates are not speaking to the media yet.
Among the three members of Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page was the only one who was open to the media about the matter. According to him, he doesn’t have any recent news about Robert Plant’s free schedule. Plant is busy nowadays promoting their duet album of Alison Krauss entitled, Raising Sand that sold 112,000 copies during its first week of released. On the other hand, John Paul Jones works as a solo artist and a producer, collaborating with other musicians. He is also successful on his career and had toured with various renowned bands and solo artists. Among these artists are the Foo Fighters, R.E.M., Karl Sabino, Heart, Nickel Creek and many more.
It has been said that Jimmy Page was the one who’s too traumatized for Led Zeppelin reunion. There were reports that he spent fifteen years not wanting to think about Led Zeppelin after the death of Bonham.
The reunion show in London revived hopes of a Led Zeppelin world tour. Though the band has not announced plans and schedules yet, Led Zeppelin fans are willing to wait for the details of the Led Zeppelin world tour. It is the music and outstanding performance of this iconic band that make them no.1 from generation to generation.
