02/02/08
As the news spread about the World tour of the band, Led Zeppelin, fans are eager to know the details and schedules of the said tour. The concert of the band as a tribute to Ahmet Ertegun that was held last year in London resulted to a successful sell-out show that was enjoyed by thousands of fans.
Jimmy Page stated that the members of the band are indeed determined to perform in world tour; however, he admitted that they have to wait for Robert Plant’s free schedule, who is the lead vocalist of the band. Robert Plant has other commitments, which include promotional work with artist, Alison Krauss, due to their collaboration album entitled, Raising Sand. The album was released on the 23rd of October, 2007 and was able to reach the top 2 peak of the Billboard 200 chart.
According to Jimmy Page, Robert Plant is really busy with his project and they have to wait until at least September. In addition, Jimmy Page also assured that the world tour deserves the best performance through the intense rehearsals and hard work, just like during their rehearsals for the London tour.
Over the past years, Led Zeppelin was able to prove that they are indeed one of the best bands during their time in the business. Who would have thought that until today, the Led Zeppelin tickets continue to sell-out just like before? These hit makers made their way to stardom and success that only few have reached. Watch out for their possible world tour and witness the great potentials that only Led Zeppelin has.
