John Mayer Background and History:
John Mayer was born October 16, 1977. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston , Mayer moved to Atlanta in 1997. It was there he released two studio albums Room for Squares and Heavier Things. Both albums reached multi-platinum in sales. In 2003 John Mayer won a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “Your Body is a Wonderland”, shooting him directly into the spotlight. Since then John Mayer has won six more Grammy's and an additional eight nominations. As of 2007 Mayer has won twenty other awards from various music associations.

John Mayer is an incredible live performer and is known for his impassioned guitar playing and charismatic singing. He has participated in tours he headlined as well as with other acts. He has worked with Maroon 5, Howie Day, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Sheryl Crow, One Republic , and dozens more highly esteemed acts from around the world.
