Hawaii native Jack Johnson is huge in Oahu and is best known for his laid back, acoustic rhythms and mellow, care-free lyrics that capture the essence of life on the island. Jack Johnson is a singer, songwriter, musician, filmmaker, and semi-pro surfer. In 2001 he released Brushfire Fairytales, which did well on the mainstream market. Since then Jack Johnson has released an additional four albums, most recently of which is To the Sea. He is well known for performing regularly with Ben Harper and Jack Johnson plays not only the guitar, but the ukulele, piano, and drums as well.
