Brooks & Dunn will continue their Cowboy Town tour next month. Their 2009 stops include Universal City , California and several cities in Australia , which hardly come to mind as typical "cowboy towns." Kix Brooks tells us, however, that every city meets the criteria: "A lot of times for them, it's just like Ronnie (Dunn) and I -- we talk about kids. Everybody wanted to be a cowboy. We had our hats and toy guns and everybody has those romantic fantasies, and that is the joy of music, is it allows you to close your eyes and be that person, go to that place, and that's why people listen to music and love it, and you realize that cowboy town's just kind of a universal thing that we all kind of want to be a part of in some way."

The duo officially return to the road on February 13th in Kinder, Louisiana .

Brooks & Dunn's latest single, "Cowgirls Don't Cry," featuring Reba McEntire, will be made commercially available for the first time as a digital single on February 10th.

Brooks & Dunn have announced the new dates for their upcoming North American winter tour.

The country crooners, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, will continue to support their tenth studio album, " Cowboy Town ," while on tour. The album was released in October 2007 and peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and No. 4 on Country Album Charts.

Their upcoming winter tour kicks off on February 2nd at Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio , CA . The North American dates wrap up on March 14th at Sudbury Arena in Sudbury , ON . Following the tour, Brooks & Dunn plan to hit the international circuit and have already announced a few scheduled performances in Australia.
