Just when you thought you would never get to experience the talent and awe of Sublime, the works of Badfish comes and changes everything. Ever since they have been playing shows in 2001, the boys of Badfish definitely know how to pay tribute to such a timeless music icon as Sublime. The tribute band came together in 2001 when a bunch of computer science majors from the University of Rhode Island decided that they needed to carry on the Sublime legend. They started playing at different dive bars around town, and audiences everywhere were falling in love with them. Soon enough each and every show was sold out and they were starting to work out a concert tour across the country.

Making up the works of Badfish are Joel Hanks on bass, Scott Begin on drums, Pat Downes on vocals and guitar and well as Dave Ladin on vocals and guitar and last but not least Ben Schomp on horns, keys and guitar. Badfish have been playing around the country from college town to city to concert halls far and in between. Much of their loyal fan base stems from those avid Sublime fanatics who never got the opportunity to see the world famous group before the passing of Sublime's guitarist Bradley Nowell back in 1996.

The 2008 and 2009 Live Badfish Concert Tour will be hitting coast to coast each and every city in between and back again. They will be kicking things off rightfully so in North Myrtle Beach and the House of Blues on November 1 st , followed by a performance in Ft. Lauderdale at the Revolution on November 6 th . The 7 th will bring Badfish on over to Sait Petersburg where they will play at the Jannus Landing, followed by the House of Blues in Orlando on the 8 th . Variety Playhouse in Atlanta , Georgia will host Badfish on November 15 th , followed by the Northern Lights in Clifton Park , New York on the 21 st of December.

Badfish will start off the beginning of 2009 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville , New Jersey on January 3 rd , followed by the House of Blues in Dallas on the 23 rd and the House of Blues in Houston on the 24 th . January 31 st will bring the boys to Nevada where they will be playing at the House of Blues Las Vegas style. On February 4 th Badfish will be performing at the Downtown Brewing Company in San Luis Obispo, California, followed by the House of Blues in Anaheim on the 5 th and the Key Club in Los Angeles on the 6 th . Badfish will kick it off with a bang for their 2008-2009 Live Concert Tour Finale at the House of Blues in San Diego, California on February 7 th , 2009.
