30 Seconds To Mars is an alternative rock band, from Southern California, USA, who explodes with impression of songs which are inspiring and musical words that manifest interest on revelation and prophetic nature.  30 Seconds To Mars’ music has successive progression and is mixed up and spur to action of balanced guitars with composition of vocal lines and organic synthesizers with electronic support.

30 Seconds To Mars has band members consisting of Jared Leto on guitars and vocals, Shannon Leto on drums, Tomo Milicevic on guitars and Matt Wachter on bass.

30 Seconds To Mars was formed in 1998 by Jared Leto, together with his brother, Shannon Leto.  The band of 30 Seconds To Mars started as a small family family project.  The bassist, Matt Wachter, later joined the band as things began to hasten up rapidly.  30 Seconds To Mars’ first guitarists, Kevin Drake and Solon Bixler, who left the band was replaced by Tomo Milicevic who also played the keyboards for 30 Seconds To Mars.   

During those times the band of 30 Seconds To Mars refuses to play at venues that use Jared Leto’s fame, as a Hollywood actor, to promote their shows.

The 2002 self-titled album of 30 Seconds To Mars served as a foundation for the group as new, fresh strength disclosing a many-sided group that flourished on inspired exploration and flee.  The second album, A Beautiful Lie, was totally new, far more disclosed audible sound as leading singer, Jared Leto, wanted to explore a wholly new, more personal and less intellectual approach.  The album was about harsh honesty, change and growth; much more enfolded around the heart than the mind, with ideas and thoughts eventually full of theoretical elements and thematic ideas.

The music of 30 Seconds To Mars is a story of joy and passion, love and pain, life and death, and a raw emotional journey.  The lyrics of 30 Seconds To Mars cuts away anything irrelevant; the band of 30 Seconds To Mars wanted to reveal the truth in life.  The band worked hard to make music which is extraordinary, very special and different the first time around, sonically and theoretically.  The band believed that in order to move forward, they had to leave some things behind, which they regarded as not an easy thing to do.

30 Seconds to Mars band’s logo was named Myrthra, a phoenix that bears the phrase Provehito in Altum, a Latin word, which means launch forth into the deep.  The logo was first and foremost used for the promotion of 30 Seconds To Mars’ debut album. 

The transition of 30 Seconds to Mars’ first and second album was considered by the band as the birth of something new and the death of something old.
