Tony Temple, Delighted of his Award
Tony Temple was overwhelmed as the crowd admired his performance during the 2008 Cotton Bowl. His teammates were also delighted of his 281 yards on 24 carries rushing record that put him in all-time leading rusher in the history of AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
His performance led to a 38-7 triumph of the Missouri Tigers over the Arkansas Razorbacks. The efforts of Tony Temple in the 2008 Cotton Bowl were also recognized by team opponent's Darren McFadden who stated that, "He did a heck of a job running the ball today."
Tony Temple valued his Sanford Trophy, being awarded as the Outstanding Offensive Player of the 2008 Cotton Bowl. It was indeed a great experience for Tony Temple who had a fantastic and unforgettable accomplishment in the history of Cotton Bowl.
